Bet you thought this was going to be witty. But in the interest of Internet safety and all that jazz,
I shall refrain from divulging highly sensitive information, including
age, telephone number, and weight. I guess a name is ok though; how else
will you know it's me? (But seriously, kids, don't talk to strange old men on the Internet)
I do adore owls though. But you already knew that so I guess that's ok too.
I'm sorry I don't see any connection between the title of this post and the post itself. I just found it really cute when Wesley said it so I put it there.
Now I'm thinking about cabbages and tomatoes and xiaobaicais rushing round the F1 track.
Damn, tomatoes make me think of Azaac. I remember in P5 we used to draw pictures of tomatoes and write "Guess who?" underneath it. Then he'd get really pissed and tomatoish again.
Audio loops are really useful, because you can leave stuff running for 10 minutes or 3 years.
I'm listening to Sergio Mendes ft. Black Eyed Peas Mas Que Nada. DJ Aldrin mixed that song for us to illustrate how you can leave an audio loop for 10 mins or 3 years. I think it's really cool. Plus Sergio Mendes looks kinda hot too. At least in the poster he does. Maybe I'll go listen to Tokyo Drift later. LOLOL I remember I once saw a beat up car which looked about 20 million years old which had some car decal thing that said "TOKYO DRIFT". Apparently that car aspired to be the next F1 champion.
Reading old chat logs makes you emo.
Anyway I'm happy today because ballet was cool =) I like portdebras1. En ron (I can't spell for nuts in French) was painful but cool. It kinda sucks that all the pretty stuff in ballet has to be painful.
Amazingly, CAP has managed to make Wesley achieve what neither Werty nor I could convince him to do: make a blog. But I just can't shake the feeling that it's not him. Not that it's not Wesley making the blog, it's just that it's not HIM. AIYA I'm not CAP lar can't explain.
I bet he and Crys got together at CAP though, Crys is now talking like an annoying made-for-middle-aged-taitais-cheesy-cheap-rip-off romance novel.
Enough blogging. I'm going back to read my ancient chat logs from Before and feel proemohappy. Or whatever the new crappy emotion is.
The new in thing in abacus is apparently staring at people at the back, which happens to include me.
To put it succintly: That sucks.
And so they've been staring at me since forever. Partly it's because of my book, which happens to be twice as big as their puny nooby ones, and partly it's because I look like a sotong in the hoodies I wear to block out their incessant chattering. Hey, everyone adapts.
Today I was just feeling mean-spirited so I complained to the teacher, "Lao shi, ta men zai KAN wo." (Teacher, they're watching me.)
Of course my teacher sympathises, because she can't pass Degree either. So then she comes over and tells all the puny nooby chattering kids to get lost. Then she teaches me a new and effing complicated method which I will probably have to employ if I wanna pass. Either that or get faster by abit. Said puny nooby chattering kids cannot stand the excitement and all come over to be part of the said complicated method, complicating it even more. It does not help that they keep pointing at my book/touching my abacus/touching my book/touching me and then looking at each other in awe and going "WAOOOOOOOO".
Teacher tells them to scram.
They scatter and then come back to prod me/my stuff when they think I'm not glaring at them underneath my hood. I shout at them for awhile and throw stuff around. They giggle and scatter only to come back and prod me somemore. Hello, what am I? Area 51? I threaten in my nastiest voice to make them all do my effing homework for me if they don't effing leave me alone RIGHT NOW (and I mean it too.) and once again they scatter.
A random tattletale yells out from the front that so-and-so and so-and-so are copying answers. It's amazing that I can actually get work done in such chaos. So-and-so and so-and-so vehemently deny this, although I'm quite sure they're copying answers. All the kids in the class are immature cheats who have nothing better to do than to copy answers from the back of the book.
Teacher gets pissed at the noise and screams that the next person caught talking or staring at me will be punished by standing at the front of the class.
So it curbs the goody-two-shoes kids for awhile, while for the rest it's become a dare of sorts. Stare at the sotong with the huge book in the back, don't get caught, and you get 500 points! Yay!
But I don't really mind, because it means I can sms in class and the teacher won't believe the tattletales that attempt to rag on me. Although I'm guai and always do my work first. Really.
My dad busted my speakers and left it to me to come home and discover to fix?
Now I'm gonna have to buy new speakers as well as a new portable HD. Gosh, the next thing I know I'll probably be building computers o.O Argh is it possible to turn bimb and comnerdgeek at the same time?
That day I saw a W910i and some other SE phone whose model I can't remember. But it was owned by W910i cos it was just 2G and had a tiny screen. Then the shop attendant whipped out a pink one and I was faced with a huge dilemma. I shock myself.
Anyway, AV Seminar Day 2. =) Divided by twooo, and another twooo. (Gosh that was so P4.) Our group facil was joined by his friend Benjamin and I spent the whole AV thingy talking to both of them. Even though our group facil was Joel. Actually Joel isn't that bad anymore lar. He didn't sneeze that I saw, and while he still stutters he's generally more understandable now. And it's okay to ignore him if you don't understand him, as Benjamin explained to me. So it was quite okay lar.
Adobe AE. Just random video-editing crap. Everyone daoed me so I sat with Benjamin lor (Poor Joel kenaed 3D animation which was twice as long as everyone else's.) and for some reason he thought I was IT-illiterate and kept retelling me the instructions. I don't mind though, it's nice of him to do so.
Apparently hacking is a HCI tradition o.O He took out some random thumbdrive and plugged it in and started playing Bloons, which Wesley showed me once o.O And then there was Impossible Quiz one and two, which I wanted to see but since the teacher came by, he quickly closed it. Damn.
DJ TALK!!!!!!!!11111111 Tee hee, it was so ironic that just before I went for the talk, I checked my smses and there was a very sad-sounding sms from Crystal: something about please delivering her from the torture of boring lectures that Wesley could actually look attentive at. (Every single one of her smses mentions her dream bunkmate. She's obsessed.)
Well I tried not to rub it in. I just told her that we were listening to a DJ talk. We were actually listening to a DJ do mixing, and ohmygawd, that guy is PRO. (Shen) Jiayi and I were talking about the possibilities about mixing the National Anthem. But our school obviously doesn't have good enough equips because we're ostenibly too poor to even let students who WANT to pay for jackets buy jackets.
Out of a fit of pity, I recorded a video of the guy mixing some music (When he cued it, neither Benjamin nor I could tell because it was so seamless.) for Crystal. And for the other similarly unfortunate people who couldn't go. DJ Aldrin is GOOD, lemme tell you this. GOOD. And no, it's not Mr Tee. I'm quite sure.
There was a talking on Audio Engineering. Okay lar. I started taking notes because Benjamin was taking notes and I felt guilty. Then Jiayi felt guilty and started taking notes, but gave up after two lines, because "It's the HOLIDAYS! Who freaking copies down notes during the HOLIDAYS?!?!?!"
There's a really cool software which is just like a digital console. Like all the chunky equips we have in our hall control room? All that, condensed into the computer. I'm serious. When you shake the window, the virtual wires dangling from the virtual mixer shakes too. Another software they showed us was connected to a mixer, so if you move a fader on a software, it moves on the hardware mixer too. Ooooo haunted. I got a vid of that too.
I envy HCIans. For one, I really really like their school campus. Granted it looks damn cheena on the outside, what with all the temple architecture and all, but it's really grand =( Compared to them, RGS looks like... the dumpster? It's huge too. Benjamin (oh btw, he's not the Ben that everyone knows of but no one actually KNOWS.) was counting the buildings and lost count. WTH lar. Our field could fit into theirs 3 or 4 times. Why, I'm surprised that their streets aren't paved with gold. They're so rich. And they have a whole long row of pretty gumdrop trees, while our one pathetic "RGS" outside J block is dying. Has been dying. Will be dying. WHATEVER. I like gumdrop trees =( They have a clocktower too, and clocktowers are ALWAYS a plus point. RGS doesn't even have one. RI has one, NY has one, so why don't WE =( With clocktowers come tons of ghost stories. Real or lameshit. RI has their fetus, HCI has Petit Brunch and bondage chambers, NY has... well, I don't know what NY has... but we only have Satanic symbols on the staircase to the control room. (I tried looking through the paintings in the clocktower, which rumour has it, allows you to see ghosts but all I saw was Wesley's famous poster. Maybe that's what they mistook for ghosts.)
Don't even get me started on their AV equips. CLEARLY, money is not an issue because they have all the crap that Mr Colin Ho was showing us in his little office. They even had some "smart light" things, which put on really nice light shows. They're those things you see at rock concerts, with REALLY powerful beams of light. Spotlights? Theirs are the type you control from a bloody computer and don't have to break your back trying to carry. Sound system? SURROUND SOUND, THAT'S WHAT THEY HAVE. SURROUND SOUND.
The stuff that HCI PA/AVA has access to makes me REALLY want to consider switching to HCI in JC. =(
First day of AVS was spent stoning through most of it, although there was some comic relief provided when all the mikes in the Audi went on strike simultaneously. And then there was like tons of feedback cos someone put a mike directly facing the speaker. We debated awhile over feedbacking to the HCI people why the mike was feedbacking, but in the end we decided that they should be able to figure it out by themselves.
I told (Shen) Jiayi lame HCI ghost stories, which she traded me for scary HCI ghost stories. Maybe I'll tell Glendon so that he can put it in their book. But I don't think it'll fit the tone, cos they are quite morbid and all.
Anyway, this morning was rather eventful because I got off at the High School section instead of the JC one. HCI so freaking big. But the sheer size of the campus makes me want to consider transferring there for JC.
Well, so I got off without realising that it was the wrong section (hey, there were people from other schools mulling around. How was I to know?) and then when I hopped into the huge building (which was extremely impressive, I must say =/ The RGS foyer has nothing on it.) I saw this and walked around for 10 whole minutes trying not to laugh and inevitably turning my face red.
Remember this? I still don't get the whole "Global Perspective" thing there. They had a whole series of them there, with half naked guys bursting out of the water to whack a ball or something. Jiayi was shocked when I pointed it out to her. She thought that my friends were all porn stars.
I don't see how Wesley holding a gun like he's gonna shoot you is about Global Perspectives. Even though I'm a lit-lover and can dig up the weirdest links. (Which often do not exist and often cause Lit teachers to lecture about the dangers of speculation.)
Maybe Wesley's dream is to single-handedly bring about armegeddon or cause an apocalypse? And that's why he's training to shoot everyone now? Even though as a by-product of it, he'll turn gay? No, but if he eliminates the world then there won't be any WORLD to have a perspective of.
Maybe it's just the whole "woohoo, yay yay, I'm looking into a scope. I can see. I have perspectives. Yay yay. If I shoot everyone, I'll look at everyone through a scope and I'll have a global perspective."
HEY YEAH, I BET THAT'S IT. I'M A GENIUS.
Another one =/ It doesn't exactly make newcomers feel very welcome, to have someone aiming a gun at them when they first enter. Or to attempt to kill them laughing. Whatever.
Oh, I saw TK. Recognised him through his lack of hair but he didn't recognise me. Hahaha.
And I went up to the High School's Audi (wrong one) and I saw a twin there. I don't know if it's Caleb or Joshua, although I'm hedging my bets that it's Caleb. He grabbed his friend as soon as he saw me, but maybe he was just gonna grab his friend anyway. Meanie, would it kill him to say something like "hi", like a civillised person would?
Fine, so I pointed at him and screamed. It's not my fault he looks so scary.
Yes, I know I'm supposed to be chionging Cabal but I couldn't resist this:
I got a message from Crystal today. It read: "Cap seminar: of lotsa food, lack of av and irritating Wesleys. How's life?"
LOL LOL LOL THAT'S WHY AV PWNZ J00.
Now Crystal's stuck with a whole lot of emos and goths who bleed black and cry during classes or are one step below tranvestite (quite true, according to her all men in touch with their craft are gay) who are emoing about how "silence is a scab" or something like that.
I koped that from somewhere, can't remember where though.
Have fun Crystal =D I'll be thinking of you at AVS =)
For those not in the know, it's the one with damn alot of squareroot signs. I think the answer is 4015, tee hee. Sho cute. And then there was one stupid fraction one which I think the answer was 2008 o.o
SMO is so lame, every year without fail, they set at least 3 questions involving the year itself. This year, we were bombarded with '2008's everywhere. Rarrr.
For those I couldn't do, I just filled in random numbers. I remember filling in a "512", as in 512 MB, and a '7', because it was my register number for 3 years =D Denise the genius filled in the blanks "1" and "2008" alternately. o.o
According to Denise, last year she did one question and napped for the rest of the 2 and a half hours. Lolol.
Last year the paper was easier! But still nothing beats AMC (Australian) in terms of easyness. I lol-ed through the whole thing last year. The American AMC sucks though, but I think that's just because they gave us Grade 10 papers. (Sec 4 o.O) Which actually just goes to show that Singapore's maths standard is imba high.
LT poked me =( See lar I become like a stick liao. Or maybe it's because I don't eat. Whatever. Once a stick, always a stick. OH OH OH and I blew holes in her "not going home, going to my house, HOMEr Simpson" thing by telling her that House was Clarisse T.'s idol too. Tee hee. Yeah man.
Tomorrow HCI AVS! =D I shall wander around the HCI campus for awhile and utilise my extremely useful talent of getting lost. Maybe I'll fall into the Limbo hole or something.
This was SUPPOSED to be a short post, because I'm gonna chiong Cabal so that I can PK Wesley's ass so fast when he gets back that he won't realise what hit him. Kind of an impossible dream though =/
So anyway what I really wanted to post about was this extremely humorous couple that made Rachel and I lol our guts out when we saw them.
There was this guy sitting with his arm on the bench next to his gf (like youknow, trying to put his arm around her without making it seem like he's putting his arm around her) and trying to kiss/nuzzle/just get close in general to his gf. It would have been really sweet, but the gf was looking the other way in this very annoyed manner. But what totally owned was her T-shirt. It was one of those "I'm with STUPID ->" kinds, but it said something like "Why do weirdos keep sitting next to me?" Poor unrequited loser guy.
I probably should go for the Guinness World Records as the person with the lowest tolerance of alcohol.
Even worse, I should have KNOWN I can't take alcohol. The first time I ever took alcohol was when I was 7 or 8 and Mr Yip conned me into drinking red wine which he told me was grape juice. And since I was 7 or 8 and still very easily-trusting, my thought process was: "Grapes. I like grapes. Juice. I like juice." and so I gulped the whole cup down and nearly killed myself coughing. I walked around with a grimace for the rest of the evening.
But yesterday night was a wedding dinner, and as with all wedding dinners they only start at least half an hour after the stipulated time on the card. As a result, I was extremely bored and went around wiping out all the peanuts provided on the cocktail tables. After that I felt extremely mean-spirited and considered blowing out all the candles on the decorations, or muting the cheesy love songs just because I could. But I didn't. Instead I decided to get drunk before the cheesy speech of love that the groom would inevitably give and so I gamely took a glass of redwine.
(This is a sidenote: Everyone says that girls need guys like fishes need bicycles, but since Haoyang's gay it doesn't really count. But he's the one accessory that people should never leave home without to go to wedding dinners, because he's the only one with a PSP, an N81, iPod touch, and dunno what other crap in those infinitely deep pockets of his. And he's usually willing to lend me his PSP to play Loca Roca after a minimal amount of wheedling. Even though my cousin had a gay purple PSP, I didn't whine and beg him to let me play it because it didn't have Loca Roca or Patapon. Only Gundam Seed and dunno what Need for Speed. Strangely they all end in -eed. So all I could do was watch my cousin bash up other robots and lose, or watch two tiny twin boys who looked about seven play Counterstrike on tiny twin PSPs. Then when I took a walk to relieve boredom, I noticed 2 boys playing with their N81-like handphones, presumably surfing porn or something. And next to them was this extremely sien and I'm-so-discontent-with-life-looking guy listening to his iPod. Sometimes being a girl really sucks, cos you can't just whip out your PSP/handphone/iPod and dao the world. Plus you can't just wear jeans and a polo shirt to a wedding dinner and call that formal.)
Wine gets people drunk really fast. Or maybe it's just me. Cos all I drank was two mouthfuls (I'm serious!) and suddenly the whole world seemed a brighter place. Everyone else at our table was similarly drunk, and we started a rather animated discussion about which pieces of cutlery we should steal home, and who stole stuff off SIA flights.
And then I took a sip of my PSP-addicted cousin's white wine. I have a vague recollection of singing the Patapon song to myself between the first and second course.
After that I don't really remember much.
But this morning I had a rather ominous feeling and when I woke up, I noticed a huge influx of messages in my inbox that didn't make much sense. So I checked my Sent Items and I realised that I had sent out a whole lot of messages in a drunken stupor which didn't make much sense either. In fact, I'm quite mortified at them O.O
I called Haoyang a squid-crunching pink pyjama wearing octopus...?
Normal mature people have inner childs. (Or inner children.)
But since I AM my inner child, I have an inner hairdresser.
Yeah man =D
If you look closely you can spot two bunches of hair tied up with some twisted thingy. Sho cute =D
See, it all started because Jedrek decided to be adorable and give me whiterabbitcandy. Then the stupid model decided to be mean and poke me and then steal a whiterabbitcandy (Why the hell does EVERYONE poke me?) and then throw the wrapper at me. Then Jedrek threw another whiterabbitcandy in my face (uhh I personally think it was more adorable when he just gave it to me) so I ate that and saved the wrappers.
Revenge time =D
I twisted the wrappers into this long strip, and then I bunched up Haoyang's hair (OMFG it's crazily long at the top) and twisted the wrapper around it. I think I kind of twisted his hair in as well, but women have to suffer for their beauty so I bet Haoyang enjoyed it.
In fact, I'm quite sure he enjoyed my hairstyling cos when I asked him to turn his head so I could tie the other side and make him look like a 3-year-old, he quite readily turned it and even consented to posing for a photo.
I think he looks cuter with two ponytails, teeheehee. You should wear it like that all the time =) But ew no way am I tying his hair again, because he has DANDRUFF. Even though he claims he doesn't because he uses dunnowhatbrand shampoo, but I know what I saw. And lots of white hair. (SO like Crystal.)
But then again, I have a whole lot of butterfly clips that I haven't used since I was about 5 or 6.
im blogging on haoyang's phone again, so excuse the lousy grammar. His psp is gay. Anyway he's an octopus so it doesnt matter. Yay! He hacked into melvin's internet so i'm just crapping on his phone. Oh ow he poked me. Meanie. He won't let me log into my msn though, rarr. Or his either, even though i know his password. But no way am i telling him that. Teehee. Ahh loca roca is so cute, even though i still can't play it properly. Hy has a pink loca roca, which is his favourite colour cos he's gay.
My feet hurt like crap. I've been on my feet practically from 8am-4:30pm. That is a whopping 8 and a half hours. Rounded down, maybe 8 hours.
OM booth from 8:30am-11:30am. Mr Lim made me run errands, lols. Oh and then we were told to go introduce OM to parents. The first parents I greeted looked at my nametag, looked at my face, and then went all, "Victoria?" I was kinda surprised but I was polite and said, "yeah...?" Parent: "I'm Vernetta's mom!"
Ooooh it's really touching when the mother of your trainee whom you haven't trained in two years knows who you are =] I think I'm gonna cry. Tears of joy, tears of joy. So it made me really very happy =)
I saw darling Eugenia. She came bouncing up to me in the canteen and told me that she went shooting. Since I don't really have a Core CCA to promote, I told her to join shooting because it's cool. And I wanna join shooting next year as a merit CCA, just like Germaine =D Obviously I told her to join AV so that she can slack =) I'm a great senior. But she didn't come and find me at the OM booth, she went during the second shift =/ Hmph she and Weiying lar. Go wrong time. =( But as long as they join OM too and have funnn I'm okay with it =)
After that LT and I had a lot of time to kill, so we went to laugh at Denise in her milkmaid dress. Ms Ong gave us a disapproving look and the three of us ran off. We followed Denise to the shooting range to get aircon, lol. LT still wore her Mr Lim's masking tape. She tried to tie it to my ponytail, but it was too short to knot around anything xD
Jiayi saw us and poked me again. Hmph everyone's poking me. Do I look that pokable? I think with the rate of pokes I'm getting from everyone, I'm gonna look like a stick figure before long. Yeah man. Then Jiayi decided to show off and shot a bulls eye or something, after which she promptly went around crowing and showing it to everyone who would listen (and everyone who wouldn't either.)
So Denise got buaysong and tried shooting a bulls eye too. But when Denise shoots, it's like #1: Pull down the thing and groan and moan and look like it's really hard. #2: Insist that you need a chair to pull down the thing. #3: Hoist the gun up, pose for awhile. #4: Lower the gun, say you need gloves. #5: Hoist the gun up, squint into the scope. #6: Lower the gun, insist that you need a jacket. #7: Hoist the gun up, pose. #8: Lower the gun and deliver a short speech about how much talent you need to shoot. #9: Hoist the gun up while everyone else sighs. #10: Claim you need intense concentration and silence. #11: Hoist the gun up, complain about your armpit. #12: Lower the gun and tell everyone once again you need concentration and silence. #13: Hoist the gun up, squint into the scope and go "shhhh." #14: Lower the gun and show us your red and bruised knuckle. #15: Hoist the gun up and suddenly shriek that it cut you. #16: Lower the gun, examine your hand. #17: Hoist the gun up, insist on silence so that you can concentrate and work your incredible skill. #18: Repeat steps 1 to 17. #19: Shoot onto the next lane/shoot the ceiling.
Yeah, Denise shot the ceiling. She was talking about silence and concentration while lifting the gun up, and suddenly there was this super loud bang. I looked up and there was this small hole in the ceiling. Lols.
During reception duty, I saw the fabled Sarah Siaw, and I asked her who Daniel was. Sarah: What?! Denise: *tries to look innocent frantically* I didn't say anything. Me: Who's Daniel? Sarah: Urhmmm. Me: Do I look like Daniel? Sarah: No... Me: YAY THANKS.
She ended up very bewildered, and I now can go tell Jiayi that I don't look like Daniel. Whoever he is. According to her, I look like 5 people o.O Who are Daniel, Wesley, Mas Selamat, dunnowho, and dunnowho. I agree that Wesley looks like Mas Selamat but I don't look like Wesley o.O That paka won't show me a picture of Daniel!
I waited two hours while twirling my phone in my hands, hoping all the while for a reply. But of course, Murphy's Law dictates that you wouldn't, so what could I expect? At first I was worried, because I didn't want you to be sad. Although now I've realised that it was probably just another scam on me. He's right, I trust too easily. I know I'm a fool; but there's nothing I can do. And so everybody scams me. Even you. I thought you'd never ever do it, I thought I could believe in you but you proved me wrong. There IS no one I can believe. I should have known that you didn't ever wanna be my friend. Why do I even bother trying to be nice and mild-tempered when I have the same amount of friends as when I was horribly bad-tempered? It's just that now, more people walk all over me. Next time, please don't lead me on ever again. Don't make me believe that maybe, just maybe, we were friends when all the while you were just sick of me. Maybe if I give you the benefit of the doubt. No, by cutting off all connections with me won't really help much. You know something? Everything's inexplicably tangled, you can't just extriciate yourself and pretend nothing ever happened. Everyone will be affected by it.
Food for thought: two balsa woods stuck together with Alteco glue can't be broken easily if you put them vertically, but if you didn't bother using Gorilla and just used Alteco, you can pry them apart easily and then you can snap it so easily.
I've learnt after many many years of pain that you can't change the world's attitude towards you.
You either staunchly continue and eventually get broken down into pieces, or you change your attitude to the world.
I drew a Banana in Pyjamas! (no 's', cos I just drew one.)
Then I drew a mirror reflection! And a mirror!
Everyone I asked could identify it as a Banana in Pyjamas.
BUT THEN STUPID DENISE ADDED HORNS, HAIR, AND TWO PUFFS OF SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE HORNS!
Then people couldn't recognise it as fast. And even then, they said it was a horny banana, which sounds kinda wrong. Bananas in Pyjamas is a show for kids.
So I am emo and sad because Denise ruined my Banana in Pyjamas!
(You can see it in my masterpiece, in the post titled "Silence! I keel you!" Right at the bottom.)
I'm eating lunch now as I labouriously type this out, but I feel extremely full. Even though I've only finished 1/4 of my lunch over the past hour or so. Boohoo. I think I'm gonna fall sick.
Last day of school today, yeah!
During Chinese, Ms Lim came in and gave the MCS books back. Maths Challenge Stage questions are quite okay, I always thought they'd be super hard though. Laoshi was glaring at us because we lagged 10 seconds to greet Ms Lim, and then she was all "JIN TIAN SUO YOU CHI JIN LAI KE SHI DE XUE SHENG ZHAN QI LAI!" (All those who came to class late today stand up!)
I was on the way to hand my MCS book to Ms Lim and was standing in the middle of nowhere so I just continued standing, since I'm always late to class. But who can blame me, I'm performing IMPORTANT AND SELF-SACRIFICIAL DUTIES FOR THE SCHOOL. (Yes, if you didn't have us, then there'd be no Nationalanthem/Morning announcements. Important indeed.)
Laoshi: NA XIE MEI YOU GEN LAOSHI QING AN DE, ZHAN QI LAI! (Those of you who never greet me, stand up!)
And because I was so guai and always greet my teachers, I sat down in the middle of the floor. For some reason, everyone started laughing. o.O Isn't it perfectly logical lol? But then I waddled back to my seat cos I didn't want laoshi to mistake me for someone who came in late AND didn't greet teachers. Very funny meh o.o
After that, Ms Ong came in and Denise ran back to her seat, only to realise that Ms Ong had stolen her chair. So she started bobbing up and down. Ms Ong noticed her and asked rather sarcastically, "Yes Denise, would you like to come up and perform?" (DEJA VUUUUU) Denise replied very sheepishly: "I have no chair..." Ms Ong: "Well too bad, it's mine now. >=D Neh neh neh neh neh neh."
Well, she didn't say "neh neh neh neh neh neh", but she COULD have.
Class party. Nothing much of interest except after that, Denise, Jiayi and I slept on the beanbag.
Then I went to build our OM structure. Oh gosh, if Mr Lim could have seen us he'd probably have wrung our necks and then BBQed us for good measure. The workmanship was... uh, not good. I think once we put the crusher board on it tomorrow, it'll collapse and die. We didn't even use Gorilla LOL.
Tomorrow's Open House. EH EH EH JUNIORS IF YOU'RE READING THIS, COME AND SEE THE OM BOOTH! LTP 4, DIV 2! Mr Lim has some genius idea that he's gonna turn the OM corner into a playground, where kids can ride on the vehicle and build little structures o.O They're P6, but none of us had the heart to point it out to him cos he looked so excited.
I hope they don't sabo me to wear Sandra's costume, oh no. I hope they don't sabo me to wear the Earl Gray costume either, OH NO. I look like an ass (literally) in that.
Ooh, my tagboard is spammed. LOL I think I can detect a conversation there, ahahahaha. I think it's cute, wheee. Except for the whole insults part, which was random. Just so you know, I'm not mad =D
Oh then today during assembly, CMU was trying to teach us Unite (sheesh! Unite is everyone's favourite cheer, who needs to be taught it?!) and Crystal and Yi Tong were being enthu and low. The rest of us were just clapping and going "ahhh." at the times when we were supposed to shout. I lol-ed. Boonhwee thought the "YEY!" came at the end of the first stanza so she punched the air when we were just clapping. Hehe.
By the second time we did it, we were going "ahhh-hahahahaha" when the rest screamed. Sho fun.
So. I don't go online for one day, and there's this huge backload of stuff just waiting to be posted. Anyway, let's tell you all about yesterday's celebrity at our school.
Rachel trotted into the AV room yesterday during morning assembly and said to me, "Eh, I saw a rabbit in school leh." Me: *thinks small pet rabbit* Huh people bring? Rachel: No. Talking to the security guard at the counter. Me: The rabbit was talking to the security guard? Wtf? Rachel: Ya! It's damn big! Me: O.O Rachel: It's someone in a rabbit suit. Like those kind you see at the shopping malls shaking hands and giving out balloons. Me: Chey. But who would wear a rabbit suit to school? Rachel: Dunno leh.
And then we promptly forgot all about it until we were listening to the morning annoucements. This RI guy went up on stage and was all, "Silence. Silence. Silence. Shhhhhh. Silence. Silence. Silence. Shhhhh." and everyone was laughing, I don't know if it was because of the sheer retardedness of the silencesilencesilenceshh thing or because they were from RI. Oh and then we ran out to look, and omfgwtfbbqsauce there was this huge bunny standing there looking very paiseh. So of course we started LOL-ing along with everyone else.
Our next encounter with the Bunny Kind took place in the canteen. When I went downstairs, Denise and Crystal flew at me and threw themselves on me, latching onto my arms and yelling something about harrassing a bunny. Yay, we went to go harrass the poor bunny and his companion. Us: O hai gay bunny. Bunny: *waves* RI guy: Hai. Why's it gay? Me: Cos there's an RI guy inside. Bunny: *claps paws to face in shame* Crystal: No.. it's RJ. Me: RI! Crys: RJ! Me: RI! RI guy + bunny: RI.
Somehow, we managed to get ourselves dragged into signing up for whatever programme the bunny was promoting. That's why Denise and I will be hanging around Fort Canning Park selling stuff for charity. But we don't have to wear bunny suits. COME AND SUPPORT OKAY.
During lunch, Rachel decided to take a picture with the bunny. (After all, that's what random RI guys in bunny suits are for.) I can't post it here cos her stupid blogskin won't let me rightclick/select, but I can give you the blog address and tell you to go find it yourself. http://dustyboxofcrap.blogspot.com The bunny was twice her height, lols. Rachel: Hi I don't wanna sign up for anything, but can I take a picture with the rabbit? Bunny: *looks extremely paiseh* RI guy: LOL yeah. Wanna hug also can.
But sadly, Rachel didn't. Hug it, I mean. I dared her to go ask the bunny "How fast can you multiply?" cos rabbits multiply fast and all *cough* but she didn't.
Dance exam was fun. Girls' parts are extremely complicated and thus awesomely great to dance. I had to do 2 turns for change-of-place while Joy didn't. And for American Spin I had to spin really fast while Joy didn't. I love dancing girls' parts, yay. Oh, Denise's hairband dropped =)
Why are all dance examiners... well-built? Or, fat, if you prefer. Like the ballet examiner, she was fat too. And so is this one. And even that lady who made us come back on a weeknight for some ballet lecture or something. (I still have nightmares about her telling us, "Use those bums, ladies! Come on, use those bums!" Augh.) The helper was dressed in a very... uh, bao lv (u with the dots) shirt. I don't think she wore... uh, nevermind. But her heels were awesome, ahmygawd. I want heels like that so I can be taller (or as tall as) Joshng.
Out of sheer boredom and procrastination, I read Munglin's blog.
I don't hate him that much now, because I haven't seen him for quite awhile and thus all his past misdeeds have either been numbed or just plain replaced with crappy homework.
Even though I still hide from Scouts everytime I see a whole bunch of them trot past at RI.
Speaking of which, I need to learn how to tie a knot that can hold super alot of weight.
RI History talks contain a whole lot of rather RA things =/ Or maybe it's just Munglin.
And apparently, they have to study something called SCOUT LORE :O For some reason it makes me think of dragons and princesses locked in high towers. "... a million years ago, (Oh by the way, the genius monkey HCI clocktower story was written by Joshyeo!) the first scout stumbled onto a huge fire breathing dragon. He tied a dead knot around the dragon and killed it. And he stuck one of those little annoying Scout stickers on it. Then he went to save the princess and they lived happily ever after. From then on, all random people who wanted to slay dragons became Scouts. Hooray. And they all lived happily ever after too..."
In retrospect, RCV sounds more classy.
Maybe I'll make an effort to be nice to Munglin. I'm feeling incredibly charitable today. Maybe instead of instinctively dodging behind the nearest pillar when I see Munglin, I might actually smile or something.
Found this on Werty's blog. Now, why can't they teach us stuff like this?
SOCIALISM: You have 2 cows, and you give one to your neighbour. COMMUNISM: You have 2 cows. The State takes both and gives you some milk. FASCISM: You have 2 cows. The State takes both and sells you some milk. NAZISM: You have 2 cows. The State takes both and shoots you. BUREAUCRATISM: You have 2 cows. The State takes both, shoots one, milks the other, then throws the milk away... TRADITIONAL CAPITALISM: You have two cows. You sell one and buy a bull. Your herd multiplies, and the economy grows. You sell them and retire on the income. SURREALISM: You have two giraffes. The government requires you to take harmonica lessons AN AMERICAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. You sell one, and force the other to produce the milk of four cows. Later, you hire a consultant to analyse why the cow has dropped dead. SHINAWATRA VENTURE CAPITALISM: You have two cows. You sell three of them to your publicly listed company, using letters of credit opened by your brother-in-law at the bank, then execute a debt/equity swap with an associated general offer so that you get all four cows back, with a tax exemption for five cows. The milk rights of the six cows are transferred via an intermediary to a Cayman Island Company secretly owned by the majority shareholder who sells the rights to all seven cows back to your listed company. The annual report says the company owns eight cows, with an option on one more. Sell one cow, leaving you with nine cows. No balance sheet provided with the release. The public buys your bull. THE ANDERSEN MODEL: You have two cows. You shred them. A FRENCH CORPORATION: You have two cows. You go on strike, organise a riot, and block the roads, because you want three cows. A JAPANESE CORPORATION: You have two cows. You redesign them so they are one-tenth the size of an ordinary cow and produce twenty times the milk. You then create a clever cow cartoon image called 'cowkimon' and market it worldwide. A GERMAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. You re-engineer them so they live for 100 years, eat once a month, and milk themselves. AN ITALIAN CORPORATION: You have two cows, but you don't know where they are. You decide to have lunch. A RUSSIAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. You count them and learn you have five cows. You count them again and learn you have 42 cows. You count them again and learn you have 2 cows. You stop counting cows and open another bottle of vodka. A SWISS CORPORATION: You have 5000 cows. None of them belong to you. You charge the owners for storing them. A CHINESE CORPORATION: You have two cows. You have 300 people milking them. You claim that you have full employment, and high bovine productivity, and arrest the newsman who reported the real situation. AN INDIAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. You worship them. A BRITISH CORPORATION: You have two cows. Both are mad. AN IRAQI CORPORATION: Everyone thinks you have lots of cows. You tell them that you have none. No-one believes you, so they bomb the **** out of you and invade your country. You still have no cows, but at least now you are part of a Democracy.... A WELSH CORPORATION: You have two cows. The one on the left looks very attractive. AN AUSTRALIAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. Business seems pretty good. You close the office and go for a few beers to celebrate.
Today after eating lunch at Serangoon (as per Xinyuan's suggestion) I popped into the 7-11 nearby and bought a pack of Nerds. Couldn't resist. I was reminded of JY's blog post once upon a time, something about someone saying "I HAVE NERDS!" and then someone else telling her, "Be specific, skarli people think you're hoarding HCI guys in your house." But Nerds are tasty. Willy Wonka's Nerds.
Okay firstly I wanna thank everyone for suanning NERD (maybe it's an acronym of sorts, who knows?) and believing that I don't have a boyfriend. =D I love yall. =)
Oh so I shall blog about yesterday, since I never really got around to doing it yesterday. Assembly was okay, uneventful, except the China scholars cried. It's really freaky when people cry, cos you're all "uhh..." and you don't know whether to go up and offer comfort or run the hell outta there.
PE was badminton again, and Denise and I showed our, uh, incredible prowess! Jiayi and Keinin felt that they needed to own some noobs to show their skills, so we played doubles. At first it was Keinin and I vs Jiayi and Denise, but then they decided to gang up against us, leaving us both on one side.
Surprisingly, we actually were more pro when playing against the both of them! We actually managed to HIT some back over. Must be because our skills are so unparalleled lar, that we own each other each time we play. (Teehee, 4 marks for playing shots that our opponents are unable to return)
Then Jiayi shot the shuttlecock ontop of Denise's head, and in my haste to whack it back across, I kinda whacked Denise's head =P Not my fault that she looks like a shuttlecock =D Then she insisted that she had a concussion for awhile, which turned out to be just a lame excuse to sit down and pon badminton. However, she managed to whack my leg, the side of my face, AND the top of my head after that. So we all had concussions, hooray!
But because we are creative genii, we found a way to occupy ourselves while recuperating from our concussions. We took all the spare shuttlecocks, arranged the empty shuttlecock tubes in a nice triangular pattern, and took turns trying to hit shuttlecocks to knock them down! It's called BOWLminton. =) Denise was good at it cos she's a darned shooter, and if she can't aim properly (actually, she can't) then she shouldn't be a shooter lol! And I was good at it cos my racket kept oops slipping (Think Josie: "OOPS my bottle slipped" throwing it at the tower some lame people were building with uno blocks) and knocking over everything. Yay us.
Denise joined AVPA! Cherylchan was amazed when I told her. In just five months, our batch has grown to 250% of it's original size! (Put in statistics, it sounds drastically amazing, doesn't it? But well, from 2 to 5 isn't really that much of an achievement. But who the heck cares?) We are gonnna have SUCH FUN. (Granted, as Huimin said, they're gonna suffer alot of blackouts.)
RS: Huifei attempted to make me understand what "I knew you'd come if I fingered you long enough" is. Xinyuan and Crystal and Rachel tried too, but I'm such an innocent little kiddy that I didn't understand. I still don't. Yay. So what does it mean?
Okay Jap. On 156 I saw the Bishan Gay in all his ORA-shirts-bespectacled glory. He gave some random guy a crooked smile and a thumbs up. It was all I could do to keep from gagging and laughing out loud. Some people says he owns Keppel, which is why they sponsor ORA shirt every year. But all he does is sit around at KFC what.
As expected, Joshng didn't do his showandtell. Zero. =P
Poor Nicholas Neo had the misfortune to encounter Wesley while walking downstairs. Wesley started shaking out all his dandruff (or maybe trying to show off his *cough* luscious locks) on Nicholas while LEERING at him. Nicholas suddenly swerved course to avoid the dandruff shower, but he still got leered at. He told me in his very chirpy (YES! His voice suddenly got high and cute again!) voice that he'd gotten full marks in the compo that I'd helped him with =) Yayyyyy. I'm so proud of Nicholas =D
Angus was suanning Sensei as usual. Humorous.
Then today's English was kinda LOL. We were reviewing Spellbound, and Ms Ong did a poll to find out how many of us dreaded spelling. Then she grabbed me to share. Ms Ong: So, Victoria, why did you dread spelling? Me: *in all seriousness* When I was P3, I got 14/16 for spelling. I didn't wanna get 14/16 again so I hated spelling. Ms Ong: *gives me a look which is a cross between a o.O and a =/* So... you hated spelling cos you could only get 15 or 16? Me: No, cos I used to get fullmarks all the time except for that test. After that I had a phobia of not getting fullmarks again so I didn't like spelling. Ms Ong: *o.O/=/* Uhhhhh.... Obsession much?
By then the class was in hysterics. Hmph.
Ms Ong: So, why do you think spelling is useful? Me: IT'S COOL! Ms Ong: *looks like she's about to have a heart attack, gasps for breath for awhile* And... why?!?! Me: Uhh, cos knowing big words is fun. And then when you argue with people, you can use big words and they won't understand what you're saying and then they can't rebutt you and you win.
The whole class was practically roaring with laughter. Tsk, that funny meh?
Me: OH, and it's really popular in songs these days. See, Fergie spells too. Class: LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Since you have chosen to call yourself "NERD", then I guess I'll have no choice but to address you by that pseudonym.
Uhh I think you've misunderstood or something, cos I've never felt for Glendon romantically o.O Please lor he's shorter than me. Maybe you don't know this, but in our school at least, everyone tells each other that they love each other. It's a tradition of expressing affection and closeness to one another, and is not a representation of lesbianess.
Likewise, it's just to show how I'm thankful to Glendon for telling me ghost stories and amusing me.
I can assure you that I'm not stealing your boyfriend, should it be Glendon or whoever's the latest scandalous rumour of the week. There's only one guy I like, and I highly doubt that it's the same one YOU like.
So please, take some time to think this over rationally. I am not a boyfriend stealer, and I have many friends who will vouch for that. You can have your pick of boyfriends, and it doesn't really concern me (like, I don't care who the hell you like). You can have him -.-
Sadly, I won't be able to adhere to your demands of my not stepping out of the house again cos I still have to go to school, being the mugger nerd you are convinced I am. Otherwise, I will be booked for truancy and get a BETA (or SOM, they call it now) and not be eligible for scholarships. Sorry.
Oh, I kind of think beating up people is against the law?
Well just to get this clear yeah, I'm not interested in your BF, or whatever. If it so happens to be the guy I happen to like, well, I'll give him up to you. (I'm not dating him or publicly expressing my love for him or anything, so I hardly think it can be classified as stealing your boyfriend.) And well, if it's he who happens to be interested in me (oh, yeah, sure.) then it's not my problem. Can't control people. As of now, I have no knowledge of anyone liking me that way, so I'm using ignorance as a defence.
Right that's all thankyou.
Love, (See, it's just a minor greeting, doesn't really mean anything much) Vic
I was innocently scrolling down to read the latest Blogger Buzz thing (cos I'm an aspiring comnerdgeek, and Blogger Buzz tells you alot of interesting crap like how you can schedule future-dated posts, which turned out to be highly useful. But nevermind, that's off topic.) when I saw this totally cute video. Awww.
Hey, alot of people think it's cute too. Don't believe go search "otters holding hands" on youtube. There were so many comments like "OMG cute" etc. Especially when they got seperated and then one of them just floated over to the other and held its hand (or paw?) again.
I think otters are cute, nevermind that they look like Wesley or vice versa. Plus those paws, ooh! I never really got how Pedro the otter could sort rubbish with such tiny paws.
I ripped this off Haoyang's blog, who ripped it off my blog.
These are two answers which I found damn hilarious.
16. Do you give in easily when you're fighting? Ans: Yes, cuz violence just isnt the way to go
20. If one day your best friend falls in love with the guy you're deeply in love with, what would you do? Ans: FIGHT!
Ooooh HCI ghost stories from Glendon! Thanks Glendon I love you =D
Glendon Goh says: What happened to LT1? Here is the absolute truth I heard from a senior. On 21 March 1968, he walked past LT1 (once located in the middle of the school field). He skipped lunch so he was feeling hungry and wished that he has some food with him. All of a sudden, there was a loud noice. "POOF!", and LT1 became CoCo Crunch!
Glendon Goh says: 1. The top of the clocktower was a secret bondage chamber with extremely exclusive admission passes. The chamber was frequented by our founding fathers, as Confucian theology dictated that they should not betray emotions in public, hence they sought alternate avenues of expression such as bondage.
Glendon Goh says: 2. Tan Kah Kee, as we all know, was the celebrated war general who drove the corrupt japanese out of hwachong's hallowed lands. It is rumoured that he could twist the head of his cane and draw a saber.
Glendon Goh says: 1) There are cavemen living in the locked toilets beside the table-tennis area. 2) You can hear heavy footsteps when you go to the track at night. Rumours has it that Japanese soldiers often failed their 2.4km run.
Glendon Goh says: PRECISELY
Glendon Goh says: ALL THESE NO LINK ONE
Glendon Goh says: THE AUDI IS HAUNTED. WHEN S4 HAVE ASSEMBLY GOT WHITE SMOKE COME OUT OF THE FLOOR AND FILL THE WHOLE ROOM.
Glendon Goh says: arh this one arh
Glendon Goh says: is whne during assembly
Glendon Goh says: a fire extingusiher burst
Glendon Goh says: 3 million billion years ago, the first monkey crawled into Hwa Chong Institution and vomited right where the clock tower is located. After years of growth and sunlight, a tower sprouted from a partially digested long bean. Sidenote:Sir Stamford Raffles first noticed this, and thus decided to found Singapore rather than St John's Island.
Glendon Goh says: After years and years of development, the tower was painted clocktower-colour, and became the HCI tower. Because of its magical origins, on the 120834901283 anniversary of the monkey's fabled vomit, they installed a Seiko clock. Thus, the HCI clock tower came to be.
(LOL, clocktower-colour?)
Glendon Goh says: Its rumored that during the Cold War, the United States of America and the Singapore Government had cooperated to develop a super high powered Inter Continental Ballistic Missile that was estimated to have a yield of 500 megatons worth of TNT. The missile was never used due to its late development and the ending of the Cold War in 1991 but classified records in Area 51 indicate that the missile is
Glendon Goh says: still hidden beneath the Clock Tower, and that the National Monument is actually a massive Missile Silo that can be only activated by a combined endorsement from the United States and the Singapore Government in the case of a world-wide crisis where immediate obliteration of a nation is demanded.
Glendon Goh says: from 2o
Glendon Goh says: There have been screams coming from our class almost everyday after school or during reccess(e.g.Hu took my water bottle, give it back nao!!!).It is said that 50years ago, a famous philosopher visited Singapore and lost his beloved water bottle at spot which is now our class 2o(that explains the screams).
Glendon Goh says: Every Friday, our class would mysteriously be messed up,littered with newspaper balls, and the class lights would be off at night, but on during the day, ironic yea?
Glendon Goh says: The stories I have heard: 1) I have also heard true stories that a HCI student jumped off the clock tower and died while trying to get a shortcut to the ground floor instead of taking the stairs, as he was racing to the canteen to buy petit brunch(a biscuit).
Glendon Goh says: 2) I have heard people telling each other that LT1 is actually the school bus stop. 3) The flag poles at the terraces are the representations of what people call 'SC'(Sacred Cemetery),where dead soldiers from WWI were buried 200metres underground. 4) The horse and TKK statues come alive at night and TKK rides it around the track for PE lessons!?
Glendon Goh says: 5) There are baby cries in the library at night and can also be seen being raised up the flag poles like flags. 6) And it is said that Hwachong(high school) has no soccer ep3 for students because ghost students have already taken up the place.
Glendon Goh says: ) When you poke holes through the art displays at the clock tower, it is said that it gives you the ability to interact(see, communicate, smell) with ghosts when you look through it. 8) when anyone walks across the school field to the centre at night, take off his shoes and socks, lie down with his legs facing the clock tower, body parrallel to the flag poles, clock tower and KKH,and close his eyes,if he clears his mind and think of nothing, he will fall asleep(WOW). O_o
No innocent kiddies under 81. Hmm that'll probably be for all those tikouncles who go wank at Yangtze Cinema, according to Xiaxue.
Ugh that is so disturbing.
Wao, somehow my tagboard got flooded in the short 12-hour time frame between which I blogged last night and got on the com this morning. Amazing.
LOL, there's no need to give Denise crash courses. Did you know that her parents are IT genii? =D
And educating Denise about Trojans just made her want to name all her files "Trojan". That's... nice. Luckily I didn't tell her about the other ones. I imagine that opening up a folder to find it filled with "Trojan 1", "Trojan 2", ... wouldn't give her parents too much of a heart attack.
The instructors at the programming thingy were talking very loudly about viruses that day. Apparently there was some robotics competition and they were watching their friend get owned, and then all of a sudden his virus kicked in and everything turned red.
LOL, they were explaining the theory behind a virus too.
Hee hee.
I want a SE W910i =((((( It's white and glittery and pretty =)
I also want a pink Sony VAIO. Or red, cos it's pretty too.
Pretty please buy me one =(
Yes I know I'm a bimb, but seriously, that pink VAIO is the prettiest thing you've ever seen. It's the same colour as my pink Sony T60. <333 loves!
I have reason to believe that SE W910i owns N81, just based on its looks alone. And everyone knows that SE owns at functions. Plus it doesn't look ugly and bulky, like the N81 does. Ahhhh SE W910i. Walkman phone toooo =)
BBQs are really glamorous in theory, what with all those chick flicks showcasing perfectly tanned and curvy blonde girls in skimpy bikinis, flirting with well-built and handsome guys while cavorting on the beach.
However, in reality? They're smoky, smelly, oily, and it's really hard to cook stuff.
So today was my niece's birthday party. BBQ at Costa Sands. Sadly to say, there weren't any bikini-clad girls or suave hunks, just lots of heart-disease-causing margerine and dry-eyes-causing smoke. Woohoo.
I'm serious, the one BBQ-ed chicken wing that I ate was HONESTLY dripping in oil. Urghh. I think the healthiest thing that I ate was possibly the marshmallows. I bought a packet for myself because my niece's friends didn't offer me any and I didn't wanna ask (I mean, why butt into cliques and paiseh yourself?) But actually BBQing marshmallows kinda sucks if there are people still BBQing food, cos then you can't just dump the grill somewhere else and BBQ the marshmallows near the charcoal briquettes. That makes it really really slow, and the marshmallow doesn't turn out quite as malleable inside.
I ended up roasting my marshmallows on the flame used to warm the rest of the buffet food. Poor hobo.
The highlight of the whole party was probably seeing a frog hop past. I stood up and screamed, "FROG! FROG!! FROGGGGGGGG!!!!!111111" because that was the most interesting thing that happened. There's only so many times you can count the number of coconuts on a coconut tree, especially if there's only one. (Unlike the HCI tree, they don't turn into heads and scream randomly, which may or may not be a good thing.)
My aunt and uncle argued about the purpose of the guy wearing the red beret (or, as they pronounced it, "red berry". I'm not sure if they mean a hat or some random obscure army rank badge thingy.) My uncle insisted it was the NCO while my aunt insisted that the red berry guy looks out for ghosts. So they quarrelled over it for awhile until another one of my aunts was all, "Hey, stoofoo! (STFU)" Okay, maybe she didn't say stoofoo, but I can tell she meant it. =)
Today's newspaper had some really interesting articles. There was one quote I especially liked, which went something like, "The popularity of video games today are determined by the size of the main character's cleavage and the ease of which you can shoot a sniper rifle." Quite true, considering the picture on top a game disc which Wesley showed me once. For some weird reason, the nerds who designed the picture must have had spent too much time fantasising about girls with huge boobs, cause all the girls on the disc seemed to have boobs that looked like papayas. Amazingly, papaya-like boobs that stand up *straight* actually look as freaky as papaya-like boobs that don't. Food (or fruit) for thought.
Oh yeah I just remembered some random quotes from yesterday night while thinking about quotes.
I was looking at Haoyang's family's quanjiafu and I was wondering which one he was. Me: Eh which one are you? I don't see you. Him: Look properly lar I'm very obvious. Me: Are you that nerdy looking guy with the weird printed shirt? Him: No... Me: Then? Him: Far right, top row. Me: Yeah that's the nerdy looking guy with the weird printed shirt.
Hmm for some reason, quotes don't seem quite as funny when you retell them as compared to the moment itself. And it's not just this quote. Quite alot of quotes I'd remembered always seemed quite lame when I retold them, but were always side-splittingly funny when I'd experienced them.
Lols, and apparently he was appointed a prefect because he was too naughty. No wonder he had like, so many Eagles awards lar. Tis not fair I slogged my guts out =( AND THEY STILL GAVE ME $30 LESS THAN THEY GAVE HIM LAR, WTF! Hmph I buaysong!
Okay AV camp. I shall condense it, since Crystal's obviously written most of it down there already.
So I trotted into the Raffles Room happily, with no sense of foreboding. Then suddenly, Crystal came charging out of nowhere and tried to hold my hand, while shouting, "VIC COME COME I SHOW YOU SOMETHING DAMN INTERESTING!"
Well, considering that it was Crystal, I kinda got very apprehensive. I thought it might be some whale porn or something, since she was dragging me in the direction of the computer. Even Boonhwee was tutting and going all, "Crystal, you freak." It turned out to be typical freaky Crystal kinda crap, but even worse than whale porn. In fact, it was...
A CUP OF MILO FILLED WITH MAGGOTS.
And because like Xinyuan, I smell every damn thing there is, I kept gagging and nearly puked while Crystal looked extremely pleased with herself. That little... nevermind.
I learnt how to play Black Keys and Chopsticks at AV camp. At first it was just Germaine playing, then Crystal and I went over, then Lydia came with our stolen camera, then even Cheryl couldn't resist and kept trying to shove us aside to play songs.
Everything else is already on Crystal's blog. Have fun reading her blog if you want more crap.
<3 AV CAMP 08.
Hmm, then I went to Haoyang's house for some meeting thing. Noob was still MAPLING. He claims he created his character 5 years ago, but he thinks I'm stupid and doesn't know that Maple is only celebrating it's 3rd Anniversary this year. Hah.
Oh for once Sion wasn't wearing that green Everlast shirt and nerdy black trousers.
And then we all got chased upstairs to listen to cheemdeep stuff which I didn't really understand until my mum dumbed it down for me. We were just sitting at the back talking, and I was using Haoyang's phone to go on MSN. =) Everyone thought I was wasting his money, but he connected it to Wi-Fi or something, so apparently it doesn't cost him anything. Anyway he let me use so I use lor =) At first I was quite amazed to see him dig his handphone out of his pocket. I mean, who carries handphones around at home?
But then his dad caught us talking and banished him to the other side of the hall.
So basically after that Sion and I spent the rest of the time sniggering at Haoyang's plight, while Haoyang attempted to make eye contact with us from the other side of the hall. Then his youngest brother came in and started grinning at Sion and I alternately, while Haoyang moped in his corner. Muahahaha.
And when Sion and Haoyang and Haoyang's brother attempted to sneak back down to Maple, they got caught and dragged back upstairs by his dad. Haoyang tried to sit back down in his original place, but his dad dragged him back to his corner. Orh hor.
Sion and Haoyang's brother (I can never remember which one is which, it took me long enough to remember Haoyang's name so I'm not really bothering with the rest anyway xD For now, at least.) and I were laughing when Haoyang got saboed to be technical support. Even Melvin was laughing, and he's a technician. Like a real life technician. Like Mr Nuh.
And then Haoyang tried to go back to his original position again, but he got caught and sent back to emo in his corner. Wahahahaha.
After the whole thing, the youngest brother was playing the piano and somehow I managed to get myself commissioned into performing this September while trying to manage two simultaneous convos. By the time I realised it, the person who commissioned me into it was long gone. Rarrrgh. But at least Sion kenaed as well, which is probably why he disappeared upstairs to bang away at the keyboard and Maple. They tried to get all three of us to do something, but Haoyang adamantly maintained that he was a talentless hack and couldn't do anything. (They're gonna make him dance though, I think. LOL I can just imagine that.)
Oh and while I was standing there tranquilly minding my own business, JEDREK POPPED UP ALL OF A SUDDEN. We all screamed, since Sion had assured us that Jedrek wasn't here. Us: OMGWTF HOW DID YOU GET HERE????!!!11111
Jedrek left his wife at home, lol.
And while we were talking to Jedrek, Haoyang managed to draw out a PSP from one of his infinitely many pockets. I tell you, he's an octopus. Then he started playing dunnowhat Loco Roco or something, which is something like Patapon (he deleted Patapon because they kept telling him: "Please wait for Patapon to stop singing.") and Jedrek had to stand on a chair to watch, cause he was too darn tiny. =)
Haoyang bears a grudge (and is quite scared of) the twins, even though they're one year younger than him and relatively dimunitive. He claims that they destroyed his toys once when they were young and made him cry o.O Melvin: See the twins so tiny you so big abit hard to believe right? Him: Yeah but they twins so put one on top of the other then very tall liow.
I have to give him credit for that flawless argument =/
Short post, cos I'm gonna do a nicer longer one later. But this was too good not to post.
There are a great number of things we can learn from Denise.
#1: Norton Antivirus is NOT a virus. It's called ANTIvirus for a reason, lol. Therefore you do NOT delete Norton Antivirus, or disable it, or attempt to use another antivirus program on it.
#2: On the other hand, a Trojan Rabbit is probably a virus. Yes, even something supposedly cute and cuddly can be a virus. Sheesh, didn't you see the word "Trojan?" Lol.
#3: When asked to save something as a JPEG file, you do not name it "JPEG file". Instead, you click the file extension, or save it as "YourFileNameHere.jpg". Naming it "JPEG file" will not do anything to lessen the amount of space used. Lols.
#4: You do not stick brooms up printers. Or little sisters' hands, for that matter. No wonder your printer was destroyed.
#5: When typing your password, make sure that the cursor is flashing at the "password" field. If not, and you type it in the "username" field, everyone can see your password.
#6: And if you're using a phone, make sure no one's peering over your shoulder =D Because N81s show the character first before turning it into an asterisk =) HA!
#7: When changing your password, do not ask the person sitting next to you how to spell it. Rather self-explanatory.
Yay, internet safety! =D
Denise dearie don't feel bad, the thing I love most about you is that you're such a big joke =) So yay continue being internet unsafe so I can niao you =)))
It is a hot and boring day. People are dying of boredom. Dying, I say, DYYYINNNG. The fluffy magnolia clouds are floating around in the azure blue sky like nobody’s business. It is a hot and boring day. Victoria, Jiayi, and Denise have escaped from the clutches of their classmates and are huddled in a secluded corner in the library stoning and discussing highly intellectual things. Victoria is reading a book called “ The unknown world of Ghosts. , while Denise is being very smart and reading books far beyond V and JY’s intellect. (That, of course, makes it way beyond Denise’s too.)
D: Look at this. “ Wundt’s theory for the psychological and psychological sutff is still being” hotly disputed”. When people in the science world say that something is ‘hotly disputed’, it means that two old people are still talking about it. Okay, maybe not talking, but arguing. :)
V: Tsk
V: This is so cute.
D: What? Where are these books?
V: THERE.... (proceeds to point at shelf)
D: I'm quite surprised the library actually has books.
V: Did you hear what Denise just said?
D: What. I just saw straight. Like the computer room and a few DVDS. You open my viewpoint
D: This is so lame (points frantically at a block of text in the book)
D: (proceeds to grab the shelf)
V: ( whispering conspirationally) You know what? Wesley looks like Mas Selamat. Wesley also looks like a sea otter.
J: ( Laughs madly, types frantically)
D: (Cue raise eyebrow stare) Oi, Jia Yi, go and take your thumbdrive and save this.
D: You know, consciousness is both continuous and selective.
V: What?
D: Never mind, I see that you're still reading about ghosts
JY: (sideway glances at Denise) What did you say? Consciousness is seductive and what?
D: (Cue raise eyebrow stare and repeats her earlier statement) CONSCIOUSNESS IS BOTH CONTINUOUS AND SELECTIVE
D: (Reads another block of text of the book titled ____________)
JY: Is the book titled "The Mind"?
D: No, it's called ...(looks at front of book)... "The Mind"…
V: (Huffs and puffs with laughter)
D: Good grief.
D: ( FOR THE FIFTH TIME, AFTER JIAYI DOES NOT GET IT ) You know this guy called Fetchner, he became really sick after taking Physics and took Philosophy after that. His greatest theory was on the Mental Life of Flowers.
JY: What!?
D: Is this a joke book?
D: (Proceeds to turn to the back of the book)
V: Check if it says, "HAHA, this is all a joke!!!!"
V, JY: ....?
(JY disappears to get her thumbdrive, returns and proceeds to photocopy the new timetable which the school loves to change every few months)
V: Jia Yi, Jia Yi, come here read this. (Reads some darn thing about Sarah Winchester and how she kept adding rooms to her home because apparently she received messages from her dead relatives, who happened to be killed by Winchester rifles. Her relatives insisted that she kept on adding rooms, otherwise she will be cursed or something. Also, Sarah Winchester was supposedly the last surviving relative. So. )
D: (Proceeds to examine some pictures) That's strange. Why is there is phantom-looking dog head sticking out behind the puppy?
V: Huh, where? (For about uh, 5 Minutes)
JY: Where?
(SCENE 1, ACT 2 )
JY: Oh…is it that black thing?
V: Where?
D: Damn slow leh, you two. Blind ah?
D: Shit, human heads! How revolting! How did they do that? So disgusting...
V: Its not a human head. It’s celtic.
D: Celtic is human…
(Dismissal bell rings. It is 12.23pm now)
JY: That's the bell to go home.
V, D: (no reaction, still glued to the phantom, OBVIOUSLY IGNORING JIAYI BECAUSE JIAYI ISNT ENGAGING IN INTELLECTUAL ACTIVITIES LIKE READING)
(Book falls)
D: Oh shit, where's the page!? Wait, is this person's brain connected to her nose? I knew it, this proves my theory right, the brain is connected to the nose.
JY: Obviously it's connected to the nose, how else did the Egyptians remove the brain through the nose?
D: (Cue raise eyebrow stare. Proceeds to read following page) What the....? I don't get this.
V: (Who has finally spoken up, mutters) Mmhmm... Yah...
V: (Suddenly stands out and mutters) Chem.. Chem.. I have Chem now.
(D and JY stare at her, jaws on the floor)
(Three people proceed to exit from their hiding place in the corner of the library and leave)
(RANDOM LIMITED EDITION INSERT)
D: You know right, that day my lame little brother was asking me, “Denise, does anyone in your class play Cabal?”
V: *scratches neck uncomfortably*
D: .. And so I said to him, “Duh, no, it’s a girls’ school.”
JY: *points at V and sniggers suggestively*
V: *looks away guiltily*
D: *accusingly, at V* THEN I WENT TO YOUR BLOG AND I WAS, LIKE, HEART ATTACK! The first words I saw on your blog were: ‘Downloading Cabal’.
JY: Lololololol
V: Well I’m not the only person playing it what…Wesley plays it.
D: You mean Wesley and Stitch both play it too?
JY: *cue raise eyebrow stare*
V: They’re the same person.
SCENE 1, ACT 3
FOUR HOURS LATER.
JY: Wait. I forgot what I wanted to say,
JY: Oh! VICTORIA LOOKS LIKE DANIEL, DANIEL LOOKS LIKE WESLEY, AND WESLEY LOOKS LIKE MAS SELAMAT ! So they all look alike.
V: I don’t look like Daniel ! Who’s Daniel? I demand a picture of Daniel NOW !
JY: It’s in my phone.
V: OH ! LET ME SEE ! Wait, why do you have a picture of daniel in your phone?
JY: ( Cue raise eyebrow stare ) IT WAS A JOKE PICTURE.
V: Oh really…Is it your background picture?
XYNYEE: Ohhh Jiayi, you’re in trouble now ! Boys cant be trusted.
After my shower today, I put a cute yellow bandage festooned with random cartoon animals like gorillas, camels, and as Crystal insists, sea otters, on the cut on my back. (No, it's not really a cut but I'm not really sure what it is either. So cut lor.) The OCDish side of me decided to roar its head just then, and that's why I'm sitting in front of the TV, dressed like a banana. (Xinyuan, please don't eat me.)
I even tied my hair up with a yellow rubber band. I think I'm getting overly OCD, but who cares anyway.
I think I'm getting the hang of Cabal! I actually managed to log in, level up, and log out sucessfully today without screaming for help a single time. Gosh I amaze myself. Okay maybe it was because I didn't know how to just talk to kakeru, but uhh that's insignificant =D
Today's sitting in the gallery was fun. Rachel didn't come up, so it was just Crystal and Xinyuan and I. Although after awhile, I got extremely bored because the only book in the AV control room was being read by Xinyuan, and it was a STAR WARS BOOK.
After awhile, Xinyuan found it necessary to announce to all of us: "An eight year old got into Singapore Poly for Chem!" Crystal replied without hesitation, "Yeah. But you know what happens to child prodigies." Don't we all.
Crystal is obsessed with 2O. She ran around the control room shouting random words put together from Werty's Guide to 2O speaking, like "YAYBALLS" and "CHUNYAY". Grayte.
Crystal announced gleefully all of a sudden, "I'M GOING TO LEARN THE YAYDANCE AT CAP BRIEFING ON FRIDAY!!!!!111" We looked at her for awhile, blinked, and then continued with our work.
Crystal is weird sometimes.
Oh but we invented a whole new vocab! Did you know that Xinyuan makes a very good swearword? Try it! One, two, three, with some force, "XINYUAN!". Like, "Oh, Xinyuan! I dropped a 50kg weight on my toe!" And doing the Mala makes you look like the 15 year old child prodigy who went to Harvard and then... Uhm.
Then I found a very nice hiding spot underneath the table and I sat down inside. I sat there for awhile and thought deep thoughts until Crystal and Xinyuan were all, "Eh? Where's Vic?" LOL they thought I'd went out without their noticing. I managed to scare them half to death by throwing a shuttlecock out of my little hiding place.
That little nook is really comforting albeit dusty. I curled up under there during lunch and took a short nap. Yey.
Still, I'm the only one who can squeeze into that little gap between the table and the wall, next to the mixer. Crystal couldn't even sit down lols.
LOLS I came to to download Cabal on my desktop cos it kept corrupting on my laptop. Stupid Cabal. Plus with every time that I had to redownload it (due to the stupid corruption of the patch) the download speed kept getting slower and slower and sloooower, until it reached an imba speed of 998 BYTES PER SECOND!
(Uh, for those noncomnerdgeeks out there, that translates to freakingly slow.)
Wah still my desktop more zai. 322 KB per second. Wooo.
(Still can't beat my MUM'S laptop in her office though, it downloaded Maple in 10minutes. Although yeah, the firewall set up by some highly-paid pimple faced comnerdgeek teenage hacker in her office blocked it, so it was kinda useless.)
Oh, speaking of highly-paid pimple faced comnerdgeek teenage hackers, I discovered what Mr Nuh's new best friend's name is! Yes, the one who shows up every day in striped polo tees and jeans. He is... MR LEE. Grayte! Now we don't have to go up to him and go very awkwardly, "Uhh, sorry Mr... uh, Mister. The teacher wants her laptop."
Hmm, today was basically a free day cos both the Maths and Aesthetics teachers cancelled their lessons, yay!
Denise got some random flower string for her birthday, so Jiayi and I kept trying to put it over her head while yelling "LILO" at her. And then when we Jiayi and I went down to the bookshop to buy graph paper and construction paper, we saw a Stitch soft toy. It was too much to resist.
So that was why 5 minutes later, Denise saw us skipping conspiratorally into class, heard us yelling "YO LILO!" and found a small Stitch flying towards her. =D
Well, being the stoned small eyed smoker that Mrs Abbas is convinced she is, she didn't notice the flying Stitch until it soared right past her and landed on the floor. Then in slow motion, she turned around, searching for a flying blue object, until she noticed the Stitch in a small pile on the floor.
Then she screamed.
Haahaha so the rest of the day was, in a nutshell, spent torturing the poor stuffed toy. I'll post pictures later, or maybe some other day.
GV at Plaza Sing so kiamsiap, they cut off part of Superhero Movie! Therefore there was this obviously disjointed section, making us miss about a million lame jokes.
We're gonna write in to Forum.
No one treated me to nachos, boohoo =( I feel so horribly mistreated. xD
And apparently I was worried for nothing, cause BOTH Sion and Pyjamaboy got there before me, despite Pyjamaboy's getting lost. They kept rushing me too, hmph. Plus they were supposed to buy snacks first, and I said I'd pay them back when I got there, but when I reached there all they were holding was one box of popcorn, a hotdog, and one cup of coke. Stingy much lols?
In the end we were still too freaking early to go in. The usher refused to let us in. See lar, bu ting Vic de yan, chi kui zai yan qian.
One of my favourite adverts was the one advertising the Popular Book Fair.
Me: WTF, you rushed us all the way in just to watch this?
Haoyang: LOOK, LOOK, BOOK FAIR 2007!
Lol.
Superhero Movie was epic. Although as mentioned above, stupid GV cut off some parts.
Oh we went to Swensens, where Sion and I gleefully ate icecream in front of Pyjamaboy, who couldn't eat icecream cos of some cough.
So, picturespam time.
This is a salt shaker that is, for some reason unknown to all of us, filled with rice.
Pyjamaboy attempts to act cute and garner pity for his inability to eat icecream. However he just ends up looking even MORE retarded than usual =D
Oh he tried logging into Wireless@SG so he could go to twitter.com, but Swensens didn't like his less than noble intentions and refused to let him online.
Tech geeks. I have no idea why they both look so stoned in this picture.
Oh Plazasing has Build-A-Bear. I want more clothes for my Cassiebear now =( Ooh practically no one got me a birthday present, so how about getting me more bear clothes? =D Or stuff from Made With Love? Or even better, both?
I think I'm probably gonna end up killing Haoyang's sheep soon, cause everytime I go to his blog I seem to be feeding it alot. Heh. Like I'll feed it a bundle of hay, and then I'll feed it that funny flower thing, and then more hay, and then more funny flowers.
I hope bunnyherolabs pets don't die.
Aiyah who ask it to be so cute; I can't resist feeding cute stuff.
Programming today. I managed to get the RG people banned from answering within the first 5 minutes. However the RI people were slacky so we all just heck cared and answered everything else.
More recursion today. Except that we spent the first half of the lesson recapping everything we learnt in the past two lessons, and arguing over time complexities of heaps. Zhenghao uses alot of swear words.
"So, the height of the tree is log (n) base 2, which we write as log 2 (n), but f*ck the 2."
Zexi was being an irritating idiot today, pissing us all off more than usual. I realised that the only reason the last few lessons were so peaceful was that he wasn't here. Damn, why can't he be absent every week? Today he decided that he had something against the keyboard and started bashing it up, thumping it on the table, folding and unfolding its legs, etc. After that he decided that the mouse had offended him in some obscure way or another, and started swinging it to bang against the table legs and braided its cord. That guy has some major problems.
Did recursive stacks and queues today. Basically just DFS and BFS. Quite fun, although the instructors were hesitant to teach us cause "skarli their brains explode how..."
"If I introduce a really major and hard concept to you now within the next half an hour, do you think you can take it? Or will your brains explode?" "Nevermind, just teach them. Worst come to worst their heads just explode lar. Nevermind one."
Saturday mornings always make me happy =D Especially since there weren't any Scouts trooping around today.
I read Werty's blog just now. Kinda reminds me of how last time everyone accused my mum of complaining and said all sorts of shitty stuff about her when it wasn't her. Please lor like my mum so free -.- And they didn't even apologise or anything, which kind of made my mum really pissed. But because my mum wasn't so free she didn't go complain. (I kinda wish she had sometimes, it really pisses me off whenever I think about how she had to put up with all that crap.) Just bad memories. Oh this isn't to pass judgement on Werty's blog or anything, cause it's not like I understand the situation there or anything much. It just that it happens to trigger bad memories so yeah no offence =D
Today I'm in a fracking bad mood, so don't piss me off anymore than I already am.
I've been very mild-tempered these two years already okay, so please stop trying to walk the hell all over me.
I'M SO PISSED, STOP AGITATING ME.
AND STOP FKING COPYING STUFF OFF MY BLOG, IF YOU LIKE IT SO MUCH THEN GO BLOODY WRITE YOUR BLOODY OWN! (That's for all those people who have RIPPED stuff off my blog without asking me. You know who you are. I hope you people at least have some shame and decency and will stop stalking my blog.)
Enough ranting. This part is gonna be serious.
Please stop making use of my blog to tease or make fun of. It's very irritating, not to mention rude and condescending. Sure, a blog is meant to be seen, but it's not meant to be made use of in the way that you people are doing so. All these posts are my hard work, and I really don't appreciate the way you're using it as a tool for some form of blackmail. I'm beseeching you in all seriousness, please leave my blog and my life alone. You don't know me, and I don't know you, so I don't really see why you should be stalking my blog as such. The only way to keep you people out that I can think is to privatise my blog, but that would greatly inconvinience a whole lot of people who actually read my blog for nobler purposes. I find it really irritating to have to log in before reading people's blogs, and I don't want people to feel the same way about my blog. And I don't think I should have to go to such extents, because it's just you people. I'm really pleading with you people, stop making use of my blog for the reasons it was not meant for.
I have no idea why the tempura I'm munching on right now tastes like it's composed mainly of flour, like plain flour. Eeks vegetarian prawns.
School today was rather uneventful. There were a gazillion talks, but Crys Rach Xinyuan and I just hoboed in the PA gallery. I wish we'd had the hall though, the KS Chee PA room stinks. Sadly someone threw away my very innovative Peel Fresh air freshener, so we had no way of making the room smell like a fruit juice.
Xinyuan and Crystal debated over whether or not to go RALA, but Rachel and I are definitely going tripscienceLIT next year. (Does that answer your question, pyjamaboy?) I can't remember who said it, but either Crystal or Xinyuan said that most people were going tripsciencegeog or tripsciencehistory. Apparently all those people with bfs were going for Tripsciencegeog, because it's slacky. o.O
Oooh it was productive, cause Rach and I started on Geog PT yay. Or maybe not really, but we PICKED places. That's a start isn't it? We blocked the door with all the random chairs we found in the room while Crystal and Xinyuan were out, just to give them a hard time when they were trying to get back in later.
Stupid Crystal kept doing the Mala! So irritating. Whether she was sitting or standing or leaning on tables, SHE KEPT DOING THE MALA. Rach and I kept taking pictures of her; I'll wait for Rach to put all of hers up first then I go kope.
Classroom cleaning was sucky. Our classroom was already maintained throughout the year at a relatively good standard (thanks to Ms Ong's high standards) so we didn't have much to do except sweep all the dust around. I started sneezing like crap. We were finished really fast so we just lay down on the tables and slept while LT went around tapping everyone with her glue stick. It was so havoc-y. (But I guess it'd still be considered mild in a guys' school, what with Glendon's description of chairs being toppled over all the time.)
OM meeting; just all about Open House. AHH JUNIORS IF YOU SEE THIS, BETTER COME TO RGS'S OPEN HOUSE. OTHERWISE I WILL GO YOUR HOUSE HANG PIGHEAD. GO TO THE OM BOOTH YEAH. We're supposed to teach the parents how to do Spon, which will probably have them running and banning their kids from joining OM, what with all the RA21 jokes. Apparently Mr Lim plans to have it like an amusement park, where little kiddies can go for rides on LTP1's vehicles, and build their very own mini structure with satay sticks and glue.
We're gonna crush another structure. Huifei's gonna build it. =D
Nahh, there's still that 1m away from the table rule for Huifei.
We're saboing Sandra to wear her Ripturn costume ahaha. She's the only one weird enough to wear it. Luckily they're not making me wear my donkey. The last time I wore it my neck turned red and painful after awhile. Heh. Plus I look like an ass in my donkeysuit. Yey lame joke. (Oh Crystal and I were trying to pun on how to look like an ass that day, and there was one "BRAYed [braid] your hair." Yey.)
Watched Mean Girls just now.
Whee gonna watch Superhero Movie on Sunday =D Rachel recommended it ahahaha. Crazy Rachel. Oh I wanna watch Accuracy of Death. It's a Jappy movie yey! Ahh and the main actor is sho hot. Ooh bimboness. But the plot looks cool. At any rate, it'll be more than just numerous affairs, breakups, and comas. CRYSTAL LET'S GO WATCH ACCURACY OF DEATH!
I have no idea what to do right now. I initially wanted to go practise piano, but then my dad came home and ruined my plans to do so. I can't practise with people around. Boohoo. How now, purple cow -.-
I officially declare that I hate Geog and I'm dropping it faster than a hot potato next year. I'm not a humanities person, sheesh. But I'm even more NOT a Geog person. I hate Geog, I hate Geog, I hate Geog, I hate Geog. Geog is the hate.
I CAN'T BLOODY STAND GEOG!
That's it, I'm going tripsciencelit. I'm only ever going to take Geog when hell freezes over.
I HATE GEOG!
Ooh today Jappy was happy.
Huiqun shouted "JOSHUA!" as Joshng walked past, making him really confused as he didn't know Huiqun. But what he doesn't know is that he's famous among anyone who knows Jaslyn. We tried (sadly, unsuccesfully) to get Huiqun to croon "Joshuaaa..." lovingly while fluttering her eyelashes at him, but I just got beat up by her.
Huiqun so paranoid! I was smiling and then she beat me up for smiling. Hmph she's got Joshngs on the brain lar, keep thinking I trying to matchmake her with Joshng...
... well I am, but that's irrelevant.
I saw Nicholas on the steps today. Eee now he not cute liao. His voice broke and became all growly and it sounds like he swallowed stones. I preferred it when his voice was all high and piping, he was cuter then =( According to him, Josie still takes 3rd lang, and Jaslyn saw him that day! (cue Crystal slinking away to hide in a corner with embarrassment)
Then Wesley walked past and was all "Nicholas, your hair SUCKS." Sho mean...
... even if his hair sucks nonid to tell him in public what. =X
LOL today we had Show and Tell for Jap. Andre did on Arsen Wenger, or that weird white haired guy in Arsenal. This caused Joshng to curse and splutter in his seat vilely, because he supports some other team, like Man U or Liverpool. Guys are so touchy about teams. Andre's one was very amusing, cos he said something like, "Arsene Wanger studied while playing soccer. His soccer was not good." Even Sensei sniggered in his seat behind. "Arson Wengre is on the right. The Liverpool manager is on the left. I think the Liverpool manager is better than Arsene Wengor." By then the whole class was roaring with laughter.
"Nowadays, I eat very slowly." said Joshng mournfully while frowning. "Like just now, I took 5 minutes to eat a plate of chicken rice." Me: Omgwtfbbqsauce. 5mins?!?! Joshng: YAH! SO LONG RIGHT! Me: How long do you usually take...? (I'm kinda afraid to hear the answer.) Joshng: Hmm. 2minutes. Me: :O! HOW DO YOU STAY FULL? Joshng: *looks at me like this is a dumbass question* I don't.
Scary. Scary scary scary scary.
Oh Sensei taught us how to use "hazu". He gave an example like, "I put up all the projects and specs on the portal, so you SHOULD (hazu) have done your project." Then as an afterthought, he added: "But some of you still don't do your projects, right JOSHUA-SAN?"
Joshua: =D Sensei: benkyou wo shimasen ka? (That's "you're not going to do your homework?" Joshua: =D *nods* Sensei: WHAT? You're not GOING to do your homework?! Joshua: OHHHH. (He didnt' realise it wasn't "you haven't done your homework." It's a subtle difference.) Uhh no? Sensei: Hmph.
Then Joshua turned around and murmured: "Not doing, not done, also all the same what." LOL silly Joshng not planning to do past homework OR future homework. Pro.
Sensei was trying to explain to us the concept of "aida" versus "aida ni" by giving us an example of him going to Istanbul.
Me: Where's Istanbul Joshng: Why Istanbul Andre: Sensei go Istanbul for what Sheryl: What flying carpet Me: Why you wanna go Iraq there? Damn dangerous Joshng: TURKEY NOT IN IRAQ LA Andre: Sensei go there find gf.
Sensei: *throws self against whiteboard in despair and bangs head* I'M GOING TO ISTANBUL. TAKE IT AS THAT.
Sensei: I'm going to see mosques and museums everyday! And I want to go to the "hama" once!
Aloysius: Sensei muslim Me: Sensei museums boring leh Joshng: Yalor can sleep one Sheryl: What's hama Andre: Aiya Sensei go there is obviously get gf right
Sensei: .............. *looks obviously very sien and defeated* hama is a public bath... *notices the smirks on our faces* It's NOT a spa.
