Bet you thought this was going to be witty. But in the interest of Internet safety and all that jazz, I shall refrain from divulging highly sensitive information, including age, telephone number, and weight. I guess a name is ok though; how else will you know it's me? (But seriously, kids, don't talk to strange old men on the Internet)
I do adore owls though. But you already knew that so I guess that's ok too.

Founder's (Or is it "Founders'"? How many founders DO we have anyway?) Day rehearsal + SLI was fun fun fun! :D I honestly love my AV CCA mates so super much. :)

During SLI we discovered that our CD player was actually a DVD player, and therefore had an autoplay function-- if you leave it alone for about an hour or so, it'll automatically play. So the PSL's surprise finale song started playing. For abit, and then we all panicked and turned it off.

We spent a good half an hour after that fretting about how Cherylchan would kill us when she came down. I suggested disembowlment. Belinda suggested clubbing. (as in, hit, not go to a disco and party) In the end, we decided that Cheryl would think of some creative new punishment for us and that our efforts would be better placed towards finding a safe, Cherylproof hiding place.

Belinda was gloating that as soon as SLI was over, she'd be able to run home, and since the rest of us were involved, we'd all have to face the wrath of Cheryl. Huichen then suggested, "Maybe Cheryl won't even REMEMBER! :D!"

Eh and surprisingly, she didn't murder us. She came over, clapped, and said "good job!"

...I worry for her.

{EDIT AFTER COMING HOME}

Hehe anyway we went to the canteen to kope food. Everyone made Cheryl take for us, since officially she's the only one who could legitimately take food. For some weird reason she refused to go alone and made me go with her, and thus we heaped loads of food onto our plates ("You take the sweet stuff, I take the savoury ones!") and went back. People who saw us with 5 chicken wings, 4 springrolls, 4 egg tarts and 6 chocolate cakes, WE HAD LOTS OF PEOPLE TO FEED D: We got alot of weird looks though :/

We had this huge SLI-buffet food feast at the Koi Pond. Cheryl got into a tizzy about someone eating her cake from her fork and started yelling about sterilizing it. I wasn't paying attention to that heh.

Oh oh oh I saw Kirk and Adil :) I think Kirk doesn't recognise me anymore. Actually, come to think of it, I don't remember any occassion where Kirk actually used my name, in the entire 1 year I spent training under him. I kind of get this disturbing feeling that he doesn't actually know my name. They were sitting in the canteen when we went to get food, and I got super excited because I hadn't seen them for... 3? years.

Cheryl: Go say hi lor.
Me: Eeee dowan!
Cheryl: Why?
Me: He's scary!

That resulted at Cheryl rolling her eyes and glaring at me.

SIGH NOW I HAVE TO GO SLEEP. RARRR.

Ohai people.

Apparently photobucket screwed up, and I have a bandwidth exceed even though I host my own pictures :/ Sigh. Will fix it some other day; I'm too unfocused right now to think of anything much.

Shoo! Go read PERSPICACIOUS for now!

frankenfriday

I tell you, I am royally sick of Frankenstein.

After a nice long discussion of the sexual innuendos in Frankenstein's description of how he created the creature (it sounds profoundly like a rape of nature), Crystal and Xinyuan and I went for lunch at Pastamania.

We met Anabelle on the way, but as you can get that story from reading my tagboard, I shall not speak much of it here. Xinyuan then decided that it was time to imbibe us with more disturbing facts about Frankenstein, and told us that the description of how he brought life to the creature was in itself orgasmic. As of then I was already pretty disturbed.

So we went to Pastamania and ordered food. Crystal ordered Alfredo, Xinyuan ordered some spicy thing, and I ordered some seafood miso thing, which, according to the description, came topped with bonito flakes.

And so it did. But with one fatal flaw: The bonito flakes were waving at me. Moving and shaking their little flaky bodies at me. And this waving went on for quite some time, as the three of us sat there and watched, mystified.

Crystal thought she ought to say something and murmured: "Frankenfood..." Xinyuan took my fork, prodded the flakes, and then jumped back really hard. However neither of their actions actually resulted in anything significant; and I called the waiter over.

"Um, I'm really sorry, but is it normal for bonito flakes to move?"

For some reason everyone but me found this rather funny. Meanwhile, the bonito flakes continued to wave at me cheerily.

Xinyuan said that she thought she'd saw Cherylchan eat that before, and I agreed. But I was quite sure that HER bonito flakes weren't waving at her. Either that, or they were, and she just ate them anyway. o.O Disturbing thought.

Eventually I decided to just fold them into the pasta and hope for the best. And it worked! They stopped waving at me! But in any case, I'm still not going to get anything with bonito for the time being. Frankenfood o.O

And to add on to the mysterious case of Frankenfood, Mrs Abbas found a jumping piece of zucchini in her pot of vegetables during cooking.

--

When I got home, I found Keyun online and thus we decided to pester the instructors about how to use the mysterious entity that is gvim. I suppose we ought to have started out with another question instead of "HOW TO COMPILEEEEEEE", because that immediately started a discussion about using command prompts and changing environment paths and whatever.

Zhenghao then decided to teach us how to change the environment value for a certain thingy called Path, which can be found somewhere in the ADVANCED (!!!) properties tab of My Computer. He was guiding us step by wicked step all along the way, and we were pretty much clueless about what was going to happen.

(10:38 PM) Keyun: i have a feeling we're messing with something we don't know about
(10:38 PM) Keyun: hahaha
(10:38 PM) φωταύγεια;: oh no
(10:38 PM) Keyun: like frankenstein
(10:38 PM) φωταύγεια;: frankenstein
(10:38 PM) φωταύγεια;: nooooo
(10:38 PM) Keyun: later the os go missing!!
(10:38 PM) φωταύγεια;: frankenstein had to do with hubris also!
(10:38 PM) Keyun: OH NO
(10:39 PM) φωταύγεια;: yah
(10:39 PM) φωταύγεια;: or skarli our computer come to life
(10:39 PM) φωταύγεια;: and eat us
(10:39 PM) φωταύγεια;: i am worried about zhenghao's idea of innocent
(10:39 PM) Keyun: HAHA

I hate Frankenstein.

SLI today was super fun! Hehe at first only Huichen and I were hanging around the gallery area. We were being stupid and coming up with super weird ideas like a bio-mikestand. See right, since people stand super far away from the mike and have no idea how to care for it (two mikes fell from the podium! One of them was new. Oh, the PAIN.), they should just leave all the mike-handling to us! The AV people!

Therefore, we ought to replace all our existing mikes with gun mikes, and let us point the mikes at whoever's speaking at the moment. AWESOME RIGHT. And then we got the idea to convert it into REAL guns, with scopes and whatevernot. Andandand if someone boring was droning on, we'd shoot a gumball at them which would gum up their mouths, and then turn the gun mike to people gossiping in the audience.

WE COULD HAVE IHG AVPA, where everyone who takes part has a gun mike, and the one with the juciest gossip wins!

ANYONE IN IVP WANTS TO HELP US INVENT A REAL GUN(GUNMIKE)? :D :D :D

Hehehe the prefects were giving us instructions from the bottom and we were trying to shout back to them from the control room, when Mr Nuh took pity on us and gave us a mike to yell into. I think it was really cool because it was a really sensitive mike and when I spoke into it my voice boomed out from all the speakers even though no one actually saw me. HEHEHEHE THE GOD-FIGURE! :D

Anyway while all the investees (?) were having their break, Mr Lee was explaining to us HOW TO USE THE SPANKING NEW EQUIPMENT :D Cherylchan came up, and we all turned around to wave hi to her at the door. And then I turned back to listen to Mr Lee; since I'd thought she'd just come up to do a spotcheck on us, and that she'd gone down.

Suddenly I felt someone breathing down my neck. Like literally breathing down my neck. I turned around and WTF Cherylchan was there. Scariest moment of the day can. I TELL YOU SHE IS BLOODY SNEAKY. I hadn't realised she was there AT ALL. At least until she started breathing down my neck -_- According to her, she'd been standing there for like 10 minutes without me noticing her :/

Cherylchan was complaining about the window again and I was niaoing her like mad :D She said she couldn't see the chairs in the hall. Okay I couldn't either but heh don't tell her that. She's picked up that "GO AWAY!!!!" phrase. Either that or I picked it up from her. Grah can't remember liao. Sien short term memory is really catching.

After that we went down to the amphi! They apparently removed the beehive in the pavillion, BUT THEY FORGOT TO REMOVE THE BEES. There were bees buzzing all around today and they scared me like crap. I felt something crawling along my leg, and when I looked down I realised it was a BEE. 2nd scariest moment of the day. Obviously I immediately sprang up and ran around the koi pond area screaming bloody murder.

During the rehearsal of getting the badges and everything, I decided to be PSL-ish enthu and try to get everyone to yell "GO CHERYL!" since I mean we're like one big AV family and all! <3 But when she went up to shake hands with the person, only Mr Lee and I shouted it out. Pshh Sec2s so blur! They suggested screaming it again when she bowed, and even though we did she daoed us. Eeee. Mr Lee says he'll give us a mike to yell it into on the actual day. :D

Then for the performance section we had to go get mikestands. I tried delegating duties to the Sec2s. "I'll give you a mission," I told them. "Go get mikestands." But apparently I can't do it as well as Cherylchan can, or juniors are getting less agreeable/docile. They each grabbed one of my arms and dragged me screaming and wailing along with them to get mikestands, insisting that seniors ought to come along as well. I pointed out that there were still TWO more seniory seniors standing around, namely Cheryl and Huichen, but they just grinned at me evilly and continued dragging me around like a sack of rice, while the two more seniory seniors laughed at me. Eee!

I think Cherylchan was trying to get back at me for the window thing, because when Huichen told her how I'd reacted to the bee she kept going like all "BEE! BEE BEHIND YOU HAHAHAHAHA!" Hmph. Then suddenly she poked me damn hard in the back and hissed in my ear: "EH BEE!" Walau being sweet and innocent I actually believed her. Then Huichen also started talking about how there were bees flying all around behind me. Tchah.

Ah yes then Cheryl went off for Angklung, and I was walking happily out of somewhere (can't remember where) when I heard someone behind me go "Victoria..." in this very creepy tone. Cherylchan again. -_- HELLO SNEAKY MUCH.

Apparently her Angklung people all pangsehed her or something, because while I was sitting happily on the amphi steps she suddenly slid down beside me and gave me this huge shock. Scariest moment #3.

Ohyah I have whitehair. (: I found one in my ponytail while in the toilet and gleefully pulled it out. The juniors are unimpressed. ): They say it doesn't qualify me as a senior citizen, and therefore in the event that they ever have to get mikestands again, I still have to go with them. Cheryl, on the other hand, told me to join what she calls the "cherylchan club". I guess it's for people with lots of white hair >) Zing!

Anyway I love doing SLIs because the teachers are always very nice to us. We got mallowblast today. Huichen gleefully ate hers in front of me and showed it to me once every few minutes, going, "Look! Inside got CHOCOLATE/MARSHMALLOW/GRAPE JAM/AIR!" Last year we got sandwiches. Leftover from a staff meeting, but STILL. :)

Can't wait for Founder's Day! :D

junior block
Tuesday, February 17, 2009

We got into MPP.

And therefore we have to go for a Mentors' Tea on Saturday, which will be hosted by RI, says Mr Lee. According to him, it's at junior block (don't crash) and he asked if any of us knew where that was.

Crystal, having (in her own words) never set foot into RI, looked at me. So I admitted that I knew where the junior block was.

Everyone immediately gave me this horrified, scandalised look. WHAT?

So Mr Lee asked me to give directions.

Me: "Okay. You know when you go in through the main gate, RI's on the left, and RJ's on the right. You turn left. Walk through the S Rajaratnam gallery, and the first nice-smelling block you encounter is the junior block."

Everyone stared at me with horrified expressions. WHAT?

Sorry lor I associate the junior block with nice smells (Keyun and I actually think it's the toilet, though. But shh.) which make me feel like coding. At least I didn't add in the coding part.

And I'm SORRY I can't give you more exact directions, like stuff like "walk 10m 56* NW until you reach a clump of coconut trees. Turn 65* to the East and walk another 5m". But hello when you got lost in RI because it's so freaking big on the first bloody lesson, and kena scolding from a scary instructor exact coordinates are the LEAST of your worries.

You'll see what I mean when I reach there without getting lost in the weird field that hosts all RI 01 Scouts activity!

Ohyeah forgot to mention: story from Mr Lee.

Apparently in his old school, he took a few cardboard boxes and taped them with masking tape, scrawled across them illegibly, and generally made them look like bombs. Then he left those around the school with hidden cameras observing them and the people who walked past them. It was apparently an experiment regarding TD day or something.

He left one under a stairwell, and according to him, this "cute little Sec 1 guy, high pants" came walking up to it, stared at it for awhile, and then started kicking it.

As if that wasn't enough, he ran over to his friend, screamed, "Eh, look! Got box, got box!" and they both started kicking it around together.

Then they brought the kicked and battered box to the staircase, where there was this slope and they let the box slide down the slope a few times.

To complete the box's tour of the school, they brought it into the middle of the parade square where everyone clustered around it and started kicking it or something.

End of story. (BOOOOOOOOOOOOM)

--

He says he's thinking about doing that in RGS. First the $130, 000 from the school admin (YES WE GOT IT, WE GOT IT. I wonder if he used the footage of the table-banging and putting down of the equipment we had during EXCO meeting last year. I thought it was hilarious. Especially since I was the one doing the most of the table-banging.) and now this bomb simulation thingy. So much for lying low.

But in any case, we have cool new equipment for AV! And a sucky sliding window, put in to make sure we are guai. -_- I mean, are we ever anything but?!

...okay don't answer that question.

Oh oh oh quote from Cherylchan regarding the new window: "Abit high."
Everyone else: "Huh? High meh?"
Cherylchan: "Yah. I cannot see the stage."
Everyone else: "... WE CAN! :D :D :D"

OHyeah I just remembered that Mr Lee said once that he snooped for our blogs. So in case he finds this, MR LEE! I WANT TO DO FOUNDER'S DAY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! :D CHERYLCHAN SAYS EVEN IF YOU SABO ALL THE SEC4s ALSO PROBABLY NOT ENOUGH. CANCANCAN? I'M VERY ENTHU ABOUT FOUNDER'S DAY :D :D

5:43 PM
shanghai tan

We were supposed to meet Cherylchan at 7am this morning. Normally I'd have just strolled in as per normal at 7:12am, since she usually rushes in at 7:25am, and all of us present will go: "WAAAAAAAH CHERYLCHAN, 7AM HORRRRR."

But today I wanted to go there early so that I could put more "HORRR" into the statement. I arrived at 7:03am and was jovially rehearsing my "WAAH 7AM!!!!" and a sarcastic face when I walked into the pavillion area and saw Cherylchan grinning evilly at me.

...damn!

In any case, blasting music from the AV booth today was FUN! :D Keyun came to find me and we crapped for awhile.

Anyway even though it's not technically our duty, everyone still loves hanging around the booth because it's super fun. Like Crystal and Xinyuan and me and Cherylchan. All sitting around being lampposty even though it's technically not our duty. SHO FUN. Loads of signups this year!

Then again, maybe it was just my year. 2 Sec1s signed up, Crystal and I. Ahh the good old days of being absorbed into the '09 batch because there were just so bloody few of us.

I vaguely remember that today was very funny, but I can't really recall the details why. Except that STEREO SOUNDS HORRIBLE ON A MONO CABLE.

And so we couldn't play music using an iPod. Cherylchan and I both felt extremely cheated. She more so than I, because she had 4GB worth of songs she couldn't play. >) See la niao me in the morning about your huge amount of songs.

Anyway because no one in the second lunch block had an iPod/CDs, Mr Lee came to our rescue and provided his thumbdrive, which (apparently) had music in it. We went up to tell Yun Teng about the change in plans (since she'd wanted to borrow my iPod at first) and then had this conversation on the way back.

Me: Eh what kind of music do you think Mr Lee has on his thumbdrive?
Cheryl: I dunno leh. Frankly it's kind of worrying.
Me: YAH. Skarli is all those 80s songs.
Cheryl: One night in Beijing!
Me: SHANGHAI TAN!

Ohman wait skarli tomorrow everyone comes up and cancels their name from the sign up sheets because they think all AV people listen to Shanghai Tan.

When I told Xinyuan that, she looked at me curiously and said: "I like Shanghai tan.

In any case, I shall play the Power Rangers theme song tomorrow >) So don't be surprised if halfway through eating you hear "GO GO POWER RANGERS!" It beats "long pan! long lau!" any time :D

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY <3
Saturday, February 14, 2009

Disclaimer: if you had a sad Valentine's Day sitting around feeling sorry for yourself, you shouldn't read this post. I mean OKAY, you CAN, since I'm not attached either. But it MIGHT put you into a MOOD, and I take NO responsibility FOR that. (If you noticed, after awhile I just started capitalising random words because I'm feeling high.)

Well, the Confrontation today wasn't the huge catfight that the teachers were afraid it might turn into. It was quite okay actually, except that we discovered that Cherylchan's secret admirer is actually a HUGE CONMAN O: Therefore, little children, do not be taken in by boys from the Boys' School Which Must Not Be Named, no matter how innocent or gentlemanly or gay they seem. (Because according to their motto/vision/huge thingy printed across the office building, they can forget about being a gentleman once they reach Yr5.)

I arrived an hour early though, and spent 45 minutes walking around the school with my laptop attempting to get a lock on the internet connection so that I could download gvim to my laptop. So if you saw a strange person trying all the classrooms and sitting down outside random classrooms (311, 406, 301) with a laptop in arm, that was me. You could make up a ghost story about the green lady who wanders aimlessly in search of a wireless connection though; I don't mind.

Oh uh Xinyuan and I asked Cherylchan if it really was HER in the ACRES movie we saw during MPP. It was quite scary since I was just mulling over how she was quite scary sometimes and suddenly this Cherylchan lookalike (rebonded ponytail, red crumpler, generally Cherylchan-ish look) appeared on screen. Crystal and I were stunned. But anyway yes it was her. She doesn't know how it got there though.

Hehe then after that I went down to meet Keyun at the canteen. I thought I was late but apparently Pangwei was late-r! So we decided to have lunch alone first. Apparently Keyun is so hung up over the Rippy the Gator song that she played it from her handphone while we were eating. I opened my mouth and was about to take a huge bite out of my filet-o-fish (which btw cost more than $5 la Keyun! I'll pay you back on Monday!) when...

"Cuz RIPpy the Gator went CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP"

I couldn't go chomp chomp chomp on my burger after that because I was laughing too hard. Keyun also started laughing when she realised that I was apparently wearing green and thus looked like a gator too.

Anyway we were supposed to meet PW at 1. Even that gave us a bit of a paradox since his Scitare thing apparently started at 1, but... Ah anyway by 1:30 both of us had to go, and we were pretty sure PW was late for his Scitare thing too, but he wasn't here yet. Keyun and I decided to go up to the foyer and ambush PW there and tell him we couldn't stay, and were just getting up when we saw PW looking anxious and hurrying along the passageway. Hehe we found it very funny so we decided to ambush him at the staircase instead.

Haha Crystal's prophecy came true; everyone who sees my file attempts to read it. PW was peering at it curiously and I embarrassedly turned my file around >< It's a little embarrassing I guess. Hehe then with the lack of my file to peer at, he peered at Keyun's hair, and she couldn't turn it around like I could with my file :D

Oh well yeah and then we had to go, and he was like "Eh wait!" and went over to his bag and opened it. I thought he was going to give us some thick notes on coding and got quite excited, but instead he pulled out...

YAY CHOCOLATES :D :D :D FOR ME AND KEYUN. So super nice can!

Ferrero Rocher in a cute packaging beats thick notes on coding any time! (: Hahahaha and even though it's from PW, it's the first Valentine's Day gift I got from a guy :D Not to say that PW isn't a guy, but youknow he's like our instructor and I think neither Keyun or I expected it. (: Hehe and YES it WAS a Valentine's Day gift because he did say Happy Valentine's Day. Gosh now I feel kinda bad that we didn't prepare anything nice for him.

LOL it sure beats Valentine's Day in Sec1 where I was young and enthu and everyone bought flowers for everyone. I walked into Jap carrying an assortment of flowers in a plastic bottle and everyone gave me weird looks. BUT then again, CHOCOLATES OWN EVERYTHING ANYDAY MANZXSZXSZXS.

Therefore, I now believe in nice people and that you can have a nice Valentine's Day even if you're unattached, all thanks to the VERY NICE person PW. :D I shall attempt to be a Nice Person too, so if you get Ferrero Rochers or a random nice gift during Valentine's Day/whatever event, you know you have PW to thank.

And even though he probably won't ever see this,
THANKS PW :D YOU'RE THE BEST! :D

Wednesday, February 11, 2009

Quoting Dr Sakhar: "You're so ugly, that when you were born the doctor slapped yo momma."

This was absolutely related to class. We were talking about Frankenstein and how ugly his creation was, and that wisecrack immediately spawned a whole series of yo momma jokes.

There's one imma use on Rachel the next time she niaos me about being slow >) It goes something like "yo momma so short, when she jumped off the curb she committed suicide." except I'll replace "yo momma" with Rachel. :D

Anyway I feel accomplished! I finally replied to pw's email, admitting that neither Keyun nor I have actually been practising PRACTISING. LOL.

Sigh no mood to blog. Nothing interesting to blog about today, except that there was a rather R21 article in lianhezaobao today about teenagers doing it. Sigh. Xinyuan and I were wondering why people can lose their virginity in Sec 1 while we lot have yet to have our first kiss. -_-

We suppose it's because there's just too much homework to think about having a relationship, let alone doing it. Imagine, you're kissing your boyfriend and things are starting to heat up when...

"OH CRAP! I HAVE AN ESSAY DUE TOMORROW!"

Sure-fire way to break up a relationship instantly.

Hmm. It's actually a good perspicacious topic. Maybe... OH CRAP! I HAVE HOMEWORK DUE TOMORROW!

HELLO, HUH? Some don't even make sense! What is with the "dancing while playing violin she"? And who's so obsessed they would search my site for ezcema?

I liked the Helen Keller one though. It means that someone else who read The Miracle Worker thought that "splendiloquent! Like a racehorse!" was extremely cute too.

CONSPIRACY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111
TODAY, 9.2.09, was the birth of a new conspiracy.
When I walked into the general office today, scrawled across the absent teachers board, were:
"THOMAS LEE -- MC
TAN WEE LEE -- MC"
Is this a conspiracy or what! Two AV teachers. Both absent on the same day. Both taking MC.
I bet the school gave them both smallpox, because they were from AV and AV was asking for alot of money!
CONSPIRACY! CONSPIRACY! CONSPIRACY!
Disclaimer 1: This is obviously not true. I just felt lame. ... OR IS IT?
Disclaimer 2: Yah I know this is a stupid blogpost. I just didn't have the energy to write a perspicacious-standard post today, even though I was inspired. And my finger is very pain. Stupid arrow gouged a bloody big chunk of flesh out of it. Walau lor I was just waving my arm around happily and the next thing I know my finger is bloody pain and there's this bloody (like, literally covered in blood) piece of flesh on my other hand. I blubber around in pain for awhile and then get a plaster. (which btw makes it hurt even more. kns la)

Hi my poor blog readers. I am going to go on my weekly hiatus (most probably) after today, and therefore this shall be my last post for the week. *sigh* It's sad when you only really get to relax for maybe 48 hours a week, and even the sanctity of weekends are bespoiled by the nature of homework, homework, and hooray! more homework!

I got my bow today :D Secondhand, from another person who so happens to be named Victoria too. This is really convenient(? I can never remember how to spell that word.) for me since she wrote her name over all the equipment, and her name is essentially MY name, I don't have to write my name all over the equipment again because she already did it for me.

Decided not to sign up for YOG training. I kinda felt a twinge of regret, but sigh it was instantly dispelled by the thought of AVPA proposals, Math PT, and other assorted things waiting at home to ambush my dreamy Sunday afternoon.

Just thinking about my schedule for the next month or so makes me want to curl up and die. NOI is barely 1 month away and I have yet to start seriously practising.

And since my life is so damn sad right now, I shall sum it up in about one sentence and reply tags and then start working on the stupid pile of homework. (It multiplies secretly in the night, I tell you. I go to sleep thinking I've done all my homework, and whoopie the next morning I wake up and discover that I have twice as much to do again.)

My life (and programming practice, while I'm at it)
int main(){
int i;
for (i = 1; i < 0; i++){
sleep[i];
study[i];
eat[i];
}

return siandedlife;
}

Tag replies.

Oh lol I just realised I got nothing to reply. Okay lor. AV proposal time. (Random though: Shouldn't the PUBLICITY head be in charge of Sec 1 RECRUITMENT? Sigh. Maybe I'm just picking at straws, but ohman when you've got a badly cut finger and a desire for sleep you tend to get quite cranky.)

Strangely, Dr Sakhar actually liked my essay on how much I detest sports, although it was in the mother of all informal tones. He said it was funny and he laughed all the way through it.

And even though that's a good comment, I can't help but think of that radio commercial: something about "only hear the good stuff". Oh well. Maybe I'm nitpicking, since Ms Ong used to grade my essays quite harshly.

Crystal said it reminded her of one of my perspicacious posts (perspicacious, as in the blog name, and not as an adjective) except longer. She says I should switch anotherentrance and perspicacious around, because anotherentrance gets more reads even though no one's interested in my life.

So. Switch yay or nay?

In order to make this seem less like a false dilemma (I'm starting to find fallacies in everything. I think I'm being rather annoying) I shall add in another option. Therefore,
1. Switch YAY
2. Switch NAY
3. Combine!

In any case, I won't be updating as often now because I have bloody lots of homework, especially for RALA, with stuff like "the origins of good and evil", "free will vs determinism", and watching Conan the Librarian yank someone up by his collar and go "DON'T YOU KNOW THE DEWEY DECIMAL SYSTEM?"

Ahem.

BTW I love xkcd. It is AWESOME. It just helped me understand the usefulness of box-and-whisker plots. (http://www.xkcd.com/539/).

Sigh I have nothing to blog about. Nothing concrete to blog about, anyway. Well. Tata.
