melamine
Tuesday, September 30, 2008
Annoying la I'm getting sick of listening to melamine reports on the TV. Why can't those China people just burn all their milk products and be done with it? Alternatively let's all start rearing cows. (HEE YOU HAVE TWO COWS!) I wasn't planning to show my orange dress pic, but Ms Ong saw it and made me show it D: Jodi said that I looked I like a pros o.O And then there was this picture of me when I was three, and as usual I said it as "tree" and got caught. I knew I should just have said "two and a half". Shiyin saw the pic and was all, "Hey Vic how come your teeth are so straight now? You had braces?" HAHA see my teeth are straight enough to fool people! But I think that was just because I was missing my two front teeth at the time D: Heh all the people I asked said that I should go for SAP :) Thanks to all those people who tagged my blog, you make me feel talented :D Even though I'm not, really. But yesh I shall apply and hopefully I'll get in :D Thankfully my CCA isn't very xiong. I want OM next year too :D

Oh gosh. Arguing with Joshyeo and Kayhian is hard, especially since Kayhian's word is law and he just shouted something very hard to combat at me :O I need a word twisting expert over here. I am but a grasshopper. Anyway tomorrow we have to bring childhood photos of ourselves to school, and I bet everyone will laugh at mine. I'm about 6 or 7, prancing around the living room and posing with a green wafer. I'm missing my two front teeth :O And even so I look better than I do now. IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE ME. I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER POSING WITH THAT WAFER. OH GOSH.

a very important question
Hi my dear blog readers. Today instead of just my usual post I have a very important question to ask you all. But first. The story behind the question: So as usual today we had art. Photoshop was fun, and Mrs Tong (tee hee all art teachers are named Mrs Tong :D) gave back our paintings and did a debrief kinda thing. She and Mrs Neo had this hushed discussion about some of our paintings, and Mrs Neo kept shaking her head, looking sad, and saying, "What a waste. What a waste." Photoshop was quite useful. We learnt how to photoshop various colourful eyes onto people. Great, now I can have the yellow eyes I've always wanted to have. Then we lacquered our paintings with clear spray paint. Ms Ong came over to take a look, and we tried to get her to buy us more clear spray paint with money from her bulging wallet, to which she replied, "It's not bulging with money. It's bulging with..." Someone: "Credit cards." Yeah and I was quite sad to see the Art module go, because I mean where else can you sit around, slap some paints on canvas, and read Da Vinci Code? So I went to ask Mrs Tong/Mrs Neo about whether or not there would be Art in uppersec. Mrs Neo: Uh, well, no, but you can always join Art Club or SAP! But I love my CCA too much D: And I don't think I have the talent for SAP. So I told Mrs Neo that. Mrs Neo: NOOOO YOU ARE GOOD OKAY. SEE YOUR PAINTING? Mrs Tong: Lemme see! LOL yeah what nice what! I liked this one alot. I protested to Mrs Neo that I didn't have the artistic talent or whatever to join AEP, which she just waved away with an expression that said, 'go on, go on, you tell such amusing stories.' (HEH ANYONE GET THE REFERENCE HERE? :D) and told me that I have too little self confidence because I HAVE TALENT. :O Maybe I should have told her about my three-stripes contemporary art. But as it is, Mrs Tong and Mrs Neo said I should join SAP. So, the all-important question: SAP*: YAY OR NAY?*For those who don't understand SAP please see below. I asked my mum and explained it to her. She gave me a wild look and said, "Are you going to be bringing home paintings EVERY DAY?" I think she still hasn't forgotten my foray into contemporary art 10 years ago. I brought home a new artwork every single day. She thought that by putting it up on the wall it would scare me away from doing more art, but the next day I brought home more. Our whole house was covered in, uh, contemporary art. When I reassured her that the quality of the work would probably be better she relaxed and said okay. * Joshng didn't understand SAP, so I told him AEP, and he thought it was something to do with Accident and Emergency. So for all you Joshngs out there, SAP is Special Arts Programme is Art Elective Programme is basically extra art lessons after school. Great. So please please please tag or MSN me your replies D:

I'm posting from my mum's office. Yay. The food here rocks. I mean, really, once you've eaten the ramen they sell a few streets across from here, the soggy kopitiam ramen just doesn't cut it anymore D: My mum's downstairs so I have free run of the place right now :D All her interns who walk past are doing doubletakes. One of them just popped in to ask, "Uhm, you're XX's..." "Oh, I'm an expression of her inner child in 3D form." I don't think she was very amused. They all give me weird looks when I pop into the pantry to help myself to ice Milo or green tea. I don't suppose they expect people other than employees to know where the secret food store is kept. (BTW it's really cool. They have vending machines there and everything. I frequently help myself to the snacks.) But I do :) I even know where they keep all the stationary embossed with the company's logo, and the Panadol. I'm supposed to be busying myself with intellectual activities, like mugging Geog, but... well. Instead I'm blogsurfing and that may be the reason why the intern person did a double take just now. Something tells me my mum doesn't exactly read brightly-coloured blogs with pictures of pokemon and such. Um, teehee.

deathly hallows
Friday, September 26, 2008
Okay yesterday was a total waste of time and a distraction, but in its defence it was quite amusing la. I slammed my MOV on the table and roared, "Oi! You Christian right? What's the Christian fish?" Wesley looked kinda stunned and said, "What Christian fish?" I drew the fish thingy that you always see on car bumpers. Wesley said indignantly, "Well, that's a FISH!" The following scene repeated itself quite a few times. Me: MS ONG SAID SOMETHING ABOUT EPHESIANS! Wesley: Ah! Ephesians! *takes out a small blue book and rifles through it.* Me: Huh? Wesley: EPHESIANS WHAT? Me: I DON'T KNOW! Wesley: *mumbles something and sticks the blue book back in his bag.* Then Jaslyn lost her circles worksheet and passed her file to Wesley and made him look for it. (Her file was one of those that look like two plastic sheets stuck together on two sides, like a L) Wesley: LOL that's nothing! He took out a similar file which was way thicker and happily starting flipping through his own papers. -_- The flipping was often punctuated with, "WOW. This EXISTED?!" Joshng was the best though. He took out his file, and slammed it down onto the table. The whole table quivered. His was a multipurpose file, those kind with pockets that they made all of us get in P4, but all his worksheets were jammed between the cover and the pockets and held there with the cover and the string. There seemed to be nothing in the pockets at all :O Plus his was waaaaaaaaaaay thicker than what any of us had. Geesh if I had to carry that around, I'd probably break my arms or something. He was crowned the undisputed champion. I have quite a good idea of who the hacker is already. So immature and irritating. Tchuh Crys I totally agree with you. -_- Ohyeah then during Jap exam the teacher was taking attendance. There's this Cat high guy in my class called Aloysius, but apparently his full name is Aloysius Harvard Tan somethingsomething. And then the teacher saw his name, squinted at it, looked incredulous, and said, "HARVARD TAN? ARIMASUKA?" The whole class burst out laughing while "Harvard Tan" covered his head in shame for 5 mins. It was quite amusing :D And gosh, even the Jap paper mentioned ABBREVIATIONS. SHEESH.

hypnotic funky fresh
More weird dreams today, or yesterday night. Involved a lot of screaming but I only remembered bits and pieces of it. Apparently someone has "hacked" my blog. Nothing seems to have gone though. Malicious acts? Anyway if they hack again I'll probably go make a police report or something. Exam period always makes me very strung-up and easily irritated. Again I intended to study Kanji when I got to MOELC, but Jaslyn grabbed me and dragged me over to Joshng, and insisted that I help him with Jap. Then Raveen appeared and started doing card tricks, like, "Pick a card, any card." Me: "Huh?" Raveen: "Just pick any damn card!" Me: "Uhm, well, ace of-" Raveen: "But not the ace of spades because Joshng chose that already." And then he showed Jaslyn more and more card tricks, making her get super excited. Then Yiwye showed up, and Raveen told her to pick a card, any card, but Yiwye refused on the grounds that she didn't know which card to pick. Raveen got pissed and screamed: "THERE ARE 52 CARDS IN THE DECK! WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE?!" Then Lim Jing came, and Wesley started roaring and doing Lim Jing imitations. I know this sounds extremely haphazard and weird, but it's not my dream :O This is what usually happens when a lot of crazy people get together. Joshng somehow managed to stay very calm and serene through this whole fiasco :O I totally messed up the Kanji section :( But I wrote a lot of crap for the sakubun. I think I write better under stress, because I started spewing nonsense about how I like to read because it improves your English (Well, technicially, chick lit isn't exactly that helpful.) and I've liked to read since I was a baby muggertoad and all. My mum called me after the exam to find out how it went. My mum: Is it still raining there? Me: No. My mum: In the morning Cross Street was flooded. I saw your Daren Shiau's stop sign. Me: OMG really! So cool! My mum: Daren Shiau is a NUT. Me: Did it uproot itself and do a taunting little jig? My mum: No. So how was your exam? Me: Okay lar. Messed up kanji but I wrote alot for compo. My mum: What was the topic? Me: My hobby. I wrote about reading books. My mum: Chey so nerdy. You should have written about sleeping. (Oops I guess I complain too much about my lack of sleep =/) Me: That sounds more like something Joshng would write lor. My mum: No, I think he'll write something about eating. Like the rest of the civillised world, my mum is very astonished about Joshng's great eating habits. :D

exam dreams
Thursday, September 25, 2008
Rachael said that she had a dream about me. She dreamt that she told me to off the lights, but I wouldn't and instead started reciting the quality of mercy speech. I had a dream about maths worksheets. I dreamt that it took me the entire duration of the paper to do the first question halfway, and when I checked the marks for that question I suddenly realised that it was only worth 2 marks. If this goes on, I'll be reduced to a gibbering mound of jelly by the time EOYs do come around. The only consolation so far is that I did relatively okayish for Geog, so maybe that's going to help my long-suffering GPA. I hope this time no one minuses marks for my ugly handwriting D: Anyway I'm quite pissed lar. I meant to study today with Jaslyn and Joshng but for some reason I couldn't concentrate, what with people banging the table and laughing, and the orange light in the foodcourt. Therefore I only managed to complete an itsy-bitsy bit, and I'm going to fail Jap tomorrow ): yes, butanonentity?

Everyone's encouraging me to read Denise's December archives. Well just *. They were blabbering on and on about how they sat on Denise's face but yet couldn't wake her or something. And Denise very proudly exclaimed that everyday, they ran seven rounds around China. I wasn't really listening. I was too busy getting sunburned. Dya think it's possible for your skin to get so sunburned it just fizzles and sizzles and bursts into flames on the spot? Wheee I am addicted to Alligator Crawl. I want to sleep. I need to finish this whole stack of homework but I'm bloody unmotivated. I tried skipping questions in the Maths FA in the pursuit of one that looked fun, but I ended up skipping the whole paper. And before I knew it, I'd sorted the whole pile of work into the "do later" pile. Let me mourn for my Jap oral results. I had to walk around during PE today with my hair done up in this fugly housewivish bun so that it wouldn't irritate my back D: I hope the NSC people feel Christmassy and decide to give me a letter to excuse me from PE forever as well as excusing me from OBS. But I don't think my mum would approve. She maintains that if I don't do PE I'll become obese even though I eat as much as her, which is not alot, and she's super thin lor. Even "Hath not a Jew eyes?" cannot motivate me to pick up my 0.28 brown-black and get cracking. I've finally realised how irritating it is to read emo posts (well, at least the not so well crafted ones) and thus I shall confine them all now to my grousey blog. Yeah well maybe I'm biased, but whatever. Oh. Mr TJ Lee has given us the go-ahead to proceed with organising the ACSI-RGS AV camp. Cheryl is adamant on changing the list of games. I mean, whacko and musical chairs?! Rachel suggests the ahem, penis game. But as Ms Ong (SJ) will never approve that, I don't think Mr TJ Lee will approve that either. Today's Chinese yuwenlianxi was damn lame. The first line was something about "ta(masculine) he ta(feminine) zong shi kan bu shun yan.", or "He and she never saw eye to eye on things", which is obviously a precursor to a romantic love story about how they fall in love with each other at the end. But instead it culminated in an anticlimax about how we should learn from each other. I bet you they fell in love with each other though, just that it wasn't written so. The whole class was filled with muffled sniggers as we read it. I feel sick D: Oh and I was reading Justin's blog (OMG see I'm so bored :O) and I LOL-ed at this for super long. *SCARYMUSIC* *Ghost’s face suddenly appears* *Scared woman points and ghosts and screams some shit in Japanese* subtitles for scream: OH MY GOD! HE BROKE THE PINEAPPLE! i think they mixed it up with Lilo and Stitch :X
He was complaining about how pirated DVDs screw up subtitles or something. Ahaahahahaha he broke the pineapple. Funnier than shouting "GAN GA ARU NODE, SHINDASOU DESU!!!!" with Jaslyn. And almost as funny as pulling notes out of... uh, nevermind.

jap oral
FINE, so I don't keep my word about hiatus-ing. Whatever. Mr Mizar was like all, "Oh yay so HDB introduced a new initiative about letting people buy HDB flats with CPF money. So then people didn't have to carry huge briefcases full of cash. This was good because then the seller didn't have to painstakingly count all the money and then go 'Skius me sir, you short of 2 dollars.' So good right!" Hem, hem. I shall not say what happened next. But I shall say that my piano teacher's brother did that once. Bought a car in cold, hard cash I mean. He got some money back from his investments, withdrew it, took a bus to the car showroom and drove the car home. My piano teacher was stunned. Hui Qun, Jaslyn and I took 156 to 3rdlang again. :D When we got off the bus at the RTC busstop we were like, "Whoa." because the entire busstop was packed to the brim and overflowing with SJI guys. They spotted their exclassmate but daoed him. :O Then 156 came, Jaslyn got on first and we were thinking "Oh yay no HCI guys!" when Jaslyn stopped right in the middle of the aisle. And then we saw Joshng and Wesley sitting there smirking at us again. D: Haha then they wanted to harrass Jaslyn so they were like "LOL Jaslyn move in move in!" We all managed to get seats though :D Then we saw Lim Jing and Jaslyn and I gasped at Hui Qun: "HUI QUN ARH! LOOK WHO'S HERE!" Lim Jing didn't notice us. I thought they were the only three HCI people on the bus when someone behind me said in all seriousness: "Victoria Yeow." And I turned around and I saw Glendon glaring at me. Next to him was the HCI guy that looks like Bryanlee. :O I tapped Joshng on the shoulder to ask him something and he was so shocked that he nearly dropped all his notes. Jaslyn nearly died laughing. -_- We all trooped into Subway to eat lunch, but Jaslyn, Hui Qun and I left faster. I was walking past KFC and craning my neck trying to look inside and wondering where the BG was, when Jaslyn hissed in my ear, "Look behind!" OMG the BG was behind, dressed in a pink shirt and >)-ing at all the KFC people. So naturally we rushed back into Subway with a sense of urgency and very nicely told Joshng and Wesley, "EHH EHH YOUR FRIEND OUTSIDE WAITING FOR YOU! HURRY UP EAT!" Wesley/Joshng: "Huh who?" *started eating hurriedly* Us: "Dunno la. But we saw your friend, he's looking for you." But when we got outside to find their friend, their friend had left. Presumably to go to HCI to look for them >) Walking to MOELC was bloody hot. Jaslyn and Huiqun were walking super fast and I was trying to catch up, having to run every few metres or so D: It was so hot I even took the Coke that Wesley offered up to everyone. And that is really bad because everyone knows that Wesley is highly untrustworthy and HIV-positive, according to Werty :O [No. I don't think it's true. At least I hope not. I freaking drank the Coke.] I bet he spiked it with something. But hiya desperate times call for desperate measures and I was super thirsty D: Then he jaywalked halfway across the street, saw all 4 of us (Jaslyn Huiqun Joshng myself) being guai and law-abiding and waiting for the traffic light to turn green and then jaywalked back -_- He insists that he bent time and space and teleported across or something. Jap Oral was screwed up D: I panicked for the conversation, and the sensei probably thought I was paikia or something because I hastily scribbled my name on the paper when she called me to go up. Her accent was kinda strong (native speaker :O) so I thought she said to write your name in ink, not write your name in English. D: Then I went downstairs and got accosted by Tan sensei, who wanted to know how everything went. "YOKUNAIDESUNE." (desu-ne is SO addictive!) LT wanted to know how it went. "BAD, BAD, BAAAAAAD." (I suspect I'm not very encouraging to talk to.) I spotted Wesley and Joshng sitting in the canteen doing homework :O I'm surprised that they didn't get caught by the aunty la, who scolded Wesley for sitting on the table: "WOI! TABLE IS FOR PUTTING FOOD, NOT PUTTING YOUR BACKSIDE! WHY YOUR BACKSIDE ON THE TABLE!" (Teehee reminds me of Ms Lim: "A-S-S is not a congruency test. As long as it's your ka-chng, it's not a test.") She was busy chasing out everyone and nearly tried to kill me for going to the office. Scarewee. Watching Spellcast on the bus is fun because it always makes me feel that mai England is damn powderful. None of the contestants could fill in VI_COUNT. :D Nicola and the ViScount. Chicklit is good for you. :D

OMG Joshng's Jap speech is superb. It's way better than mine. Way better than all of yours too, I bet. It's super cheem and interesting. :O ...Maybe it's because Jaslyn and I are composing it for him. :D But it's still very good okay! All we're doing is the translation. Anyway we must help Joshng score for Orals! :D :D :D GANBATTE NE~ Or as we're saying for his speech, ganbaranakutewaikemasen! It's very cute. Joshng: I want to be a Jap teacher. Me: HUH?!?!?! Joshng: Cos Sensei always very happy. So teaching Jap must be very fun. Jaslyn says: what else are you intending to do to reach your goal of becoming a jap teacher? Joshua Ng says: huh Joshua Ng says: you mean ganbarimas-ing isnt enough? In case you haven't realised, all our ambitions are fake. They're limited to what the helping words are. YAYYAY Operation Help Joshng Do Well in Jap has extended to the Friday papers too :) STUDY GROUP111111111111 I'm probably sacrificing a 4.0 in a random subject because of this but... oh well. Joshng has just not-very-nicely reminded me that his orals are before mine, and since I'm a co-writer of his script, the examiner might listen to mine and go, "Hmm. This sounds very familiar. Just like what that huge HCI guy drawled out awhile ago. Hmm." Whee finally finished :)

art museum
I very sien to blog today. Will most probably be on hiatus until after EOYs. So one last post till then I guess. We went to the Art museum for Art today. It was very... artistic. Now we have to sketch our favourite piece and write an essay on it. I don't intend to start on it yet. Maybe it's because I have absolutely zero talent in art. When I was young I painted three colourful stripes on this huge drawing block and told my mum it was the Changi Airport fountain. She laughed herself silly. No talent, no talent. Um, I'll blog about the art museum later. When I upload pictures. Right now I'm just feeling pretty apathetic and can't be bothered to get my handphone from where it sits on the sofa, about 2m away from me. No, it's just not worth the walk. I have to memorise a speech about my ambition by tomorrow. Very daunting. I'm scared I'll just freak and start reciting "The quality of mercy" instead. One good thing is that I'm more or less secured for any quotes in the upcoming Lit quiz from that speech. And I'm quite sure it'll come out. Apathy aside, I'm happy today :D I FINALLY broke 50marks for my Cheena compos. Stupid qingjingwens lar. Something about a difficulty we faced and how we overcame it. I made something up... and got 50 :) Should have been 54 but I minused 4 marks for cuobiezi D: Irritating lar all these stupid words. So hard to write. Plus they all sound the same. And what made me even happier was the OTHER cheena compo. 55 :D:D:D:D:D:D Should have been fifty-freaking-nine but as usual I minused 4 for cuobiezi. ANNOYING CAN. I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN LIKE, IMBAPRO 4.0! Something about how you blamed someone else wrongly, which led to a misunderstanding. It seems that all misunderstandings happen when you go to the toilet. You leave your friend with something, and then something bad happens to that something while you're in the toilet, and then you come back and scold your friend and decide never to speak to him/her again. I wrote that my friend threw away my food because a bird ate it and tanglaoshi said that it was very imaginative. O.O But I don't care 55 IS a 55 after all. Teehee I'm sho inspired. Therefore I shall apply for Cheena CAP next year and go around spouting tang shis and rolling my head around annoyingly like a cheena scholar. (No. I'm kidding. CAP is scary D:) But I'm also happy cos I finally got all my music books :D Grade8piano and Grade1violin D: After flipping through the Grade 8 book the violin one seems all the more pathetic. I could quite probably sight read it. The hardest song in the book is something called "Toodle Pip". Whereas there's a song in Grade8 piano this year that's 12 pages long :) My teacher was so pleased that I gave in and chose Scarlatti that she let me choose random songs for List B and C. After reading about the terror on Wall Street my mum went on a shopping spree. She was all, "LOL k why should I save all my money when stupid Wall Street will just lose it all for me? LET'S GO SPEND IT NAO!!!" She bought me a new pair of shoes. :) SAY THEY ARE NICE WHEN YOU SEE THEM OR ELSE. Aiya I feel like checking into KK. And then I could zip around in wheelchairs and eat tasty food and not be worried about EOYs. We haven't even finished the bleddy syllabus can!

Imagination overload today. During English... Ms Ong: What's this "Plaza Sing" thing on the board? Steph: Oh it's a list of people who are going to Plaza Sing tomorrow. Ms Ong: Why? Steph: It's 20.9. Our class's birthday teehee. Ms Ong: ._. Okay anyway I hope I don't see you people there... Steph: Why? Are you going to be at Plaza Sing? Ms Ong: Not at Plaza Sing, but near there. Class: YAYYY let's go stalk Ms Ong! Ms Ong: -_- If you want to know where I'm going you can just ask me straight. Sarah: You're COSPLAYING?!?!?! Ms Ong: WHAT?! Sarah: Are you Cosplaying? :O Ms Ong: *splutters* Cosplaying?! Sarah: Yeah, I thought you said if we wanted to know what you were we could just ask. Ms Ong: I SAID "WHERE", SARAH. "WHERE"! I don't engage in, uh, alternative lifestyles. And then I thought of the Goth group (LOL Huilian and co) with all their Lolita dresses and whatnot and I thought of Ms Ong wearing them. Seeing your teachers in Goth/Lolita costumes is always very weird. Even imagining it. During lunch... Huifei: Are THOSE people staying back for Maths Quiz? *points at ******** * Lidan: ********? Huifei: Cannot be right. Lidan: I don't think so. Huifei: Imagine ******** taking part in SMO. And getting Platinum. Lidan: ...I have a very active imagination, but I can't imagine that. The quality of mercy is not strained, and thankfully Ms Ong was merciful and I got relatively good marks.

Oh no Joshng's turning into a Wesley. Joshua Ng says: i can beat any of you with 1 hand tied behind my back Joshua Ng says: lol In chess, that is. -_-" Talking to Joshng with Wesley trying to chat up Jaslyn at the same time is very lame. But very funny. But now they're talking chess and I'm emoing cos I'm the worst chess player there ever was D: KNS Crystal put me as 3, 11 and 27 for the questionless quiz. I disagree. * stole my doggy keychain today and named it Willy. She refused to give it back. When I shouted "GIVE ME BACK MY WILLY!" everyone turned around and gave me a very weird look. OMFGWTFBBQSAUCE I was kidding when I told Jaslyn to learn chess from Wesley because he can beat Joshng. I always thought Joshng was invincible at chess. (SG team player obviously right) BUT OMG WESLEY REALLY BEAT JOSHNG. With a rook handicap. Without looking at the board for 5 freaking moves. Damn Wesley's my idol now. Monkey, gorilla, chimpanzee! Lols now the topic has changed back to Lim Jing. Who is totally hot and whom everyone is in love with. Jaslyn pronounced her everlasting love for Lim Jing but I told her not to be unfaithful. Jaslyn: LIM JING IS THE BEST! Me: Wait Hui Qun kill you :O Go like someone LIKE Lim Jing but NOT Lim Jing. Jaslyn: BUT HE'S ONE OF A KIND! Me: No Wesley's just as ugly :D Wesley: GO AWAY! :D

polyclinics
Yay I went to the polyclinic today. And........... I GOT MY REFERRAL LETTER :D Teehee. It was so hot and boring though. I went in at 2:40pm and took a queue number. 2481. I walked into the registration area and SHOCK! they were still at 244something. I cried. Waiting to see the doctor was even worse. I waited from 3:00pm to 4something. I finished annotating my compre and wanted to do it but I realised I didn't have the regulation RGS foolscap. So I sat around trying to see how many people I could piss off by pretending to be an elitist spoilt brat. They were all too engrossed with their own illnesses to pay any attention to me though :/ I got so bored after that I smsed Crystal to complain about being at the polyclinic. Me: Cryssss I'm so bored at the polyclinic. Crys: Why you pregnant arh. That was extremely unhelpful D: So I decided to go shopping at the pharmacy instead :D But sadly the Hougang Polyclinic pharmacy sucks and majority of what they sold was stuff like adult diapers and toothpaste and stuff like that. There were a pathetic 3 aisles reserved for food, not counting the rows and rows of vitamins and crap. But since I was bloody sleepy all I wanted was some reasonably good food that I could munch on and irritate the hell out of everyone in the waiting room. BUT they don't even sell good food! It's all health food! Stuff like "Organic Black Sesame Jam" and "Almond and coconut and hamster bedding energy bars" and "100% fat and sugar and taste free chocolate!" At least NSC sells (admittedly, expensive and high-class) potato chips. In the end I dug out some green apple chocolate crap which looked promising and went to pay D: They sell condoms at pharmacies too :O I never knew that LOL. Or maybe I just didn't look hard enough. I was considering plonking a couple down on the counter (muahaha since I am pregnant, beware my condoms or something equally lame) just to scare the lady but I was too sleepy to bother. And then I went back up to stone. Then this puny HCI guy slumped in a seat near me with his mum nagging him a mile a minute. It was super funny. "Have you eaten lunch?" "Ya..." "What did you eat?" "Fish and chips..." "Good anot?" "Ya..." "How was school?" "Okay lar..." "Did you talk to Mr Ho(n?)" "Ya..." "What did he say?" "Nothing..." "Did you do your Lit presentation?" "Ya..." ... It is always so much fun to watch other people get nagged at :D I was smirking at the hapless long-suffering boy from my seat. He didn't notice. Finally they called my number. I explained to the doctor why I should totally be allowed to pon OBS, he listened patiently and said, "Okay I'll give you a letter. That's all, right?" WHEE. I think doctors are generally very good-tempered. They give in to you almost all the time. I talked my way out of a biopsy WITH ULCERS last year :D When I went out the nagging mum was flipping through her son's homework. He looked pained. 1hour20mins to get a referral letter. Next time I'll just pop in to keep my 6month outpatient visit thingy open.

Monday, September 15, 2008
HAHA today I am very happy teehee! Ms Ong looked utterly scandalised during CLE today, when Sarah burst out laughing at my sinister passport photo where I was smirking at the camera in that "Muahahaha, there's a huge spider behind you waiting to chomp off your head but I shan't tell you" look. Sarah then proceeded to announce that I looked super funny and everyone was clambering to look at my photo o.O Ms Ong looked incredously at it for awhile and said, "Isn't this the one on your OBS form?" Indeed. I had hoped that the freaky photo and my honest account of my medical history would have scared them away from accepting me into the course. It DID make Ms Ong do a doubletake when she first saw it though. Mr Ho: "Well, yes, the natural tendency is to gyrate towards cuter and more attrative people..." Ms Ong looked horrified and murmured: "Gyrate...?" Denise: "Um, there was this cute girl who took one of those fake paper suns and used it to whack our... uh... um... rears." Ms Ong nearly fainted. I pity her sometimes. She got a form class like us :D *** Jaslyn, Hui Qun and I decided to treat Joshng to ALL the McSpicys we owed him at one go. Which equates to about 5. But I decided to be nice and not give him mine first. (I hope he's forgotten about the Feb one.) We initially wanted to hide behind the pillars at the busstop and then jump out at them and scream "BOO" or something, but they took so long we got utterly bored and zhao-ed to J8. True to her word, Jaslyn bought Joshng TWO Mcspicy meals. For the first time ever, I saw Joshng stumped at the sight of food. He gave one meal to Wesley, who had tagged along at the mention of food. He tried to con us into drinking Joshng's drinks by going, "Drink lar! I didn't drink this at all!" But everyone knows that Wesley cannot be trusted and thus no one drank it :D Jaslyn and Hui Qun and I decided to try racing the strolling boys to MOELC. We had to walk surprisingly fast in order to keep our lead. Wesley: "WAOOO all of you finish your 2.4 faster than me!" Jaslyn (to me): "Really?!?!" Me: "I walked 5 rounds in 22mins. Cannot be lar." Heh then Wesley kept trying to attract Jaslyn and Hui Qun's attention. "OIE! GIRL WITH SCHOOLBAG!" "OIE! GIRL WITH HAIR!" "OIE! GIRL WITH SHOES!" "OIE! GIRL WITH... Oh shit what arh." So we shouted back: "OIE! BOY WITH NO BRAIN! DON'T SHOUT AT THE ST. NICKS GIRL IN FRONT LER, SHE'S GETTING IRRITATED!" I asked Joshng for a chip and he held out one to me. I was kinda suspicious because Wesley was sniggering. But a chip IS a chip and I ate it :D Hui Qun: "Skarli the chip poisoned! Wait you turn into a CHIPmunk! OMG wait you turn into Lim Jing!" I happily obliged with a :B. She screamed and try to kill me. "YOU CANNOT INSULT MY LIM JING!1111111111111" *** During Jap... Andre: I don't speak Jap! (in Jap) Sensei: (to random RI guy sitting at the back finishing his homework) LOL see your RI class? Got 10 people liddat! Andre: THAT'S GREAT WHAT! Sensei was explaining how to use the interjection "mo!" which is basically an interjection of surprise when something is bigger than you expected. He started, "Hmm, so you go to Macs with your friend. And your friend eats ONE WHOLE BIG MAC, ALL BY HIMSELF!" Joshng turned around and gave me a very sheepish smile. :)

Me: Oh hai LT do you still want your Grade 1 violin scale books? Cos I dowana spend 5 bucks on 2 pages. LT: OMG you're starting violin?!?!?! I'M STARTING PIANO! Me: OMG REALLY! *cue loud squeals and grabbing each others' arms and jumping around screaming* I love Mondays. They're so slacky. I finished Art today with 1 hour to spare, so Mrs Neo was like, "Uh, okay, you can go do whatever you want. Like go to the canteen and eat or something. Or you could raid the art library." Everyone knows how, uh, appetising school canteen food is (I just have to walk into the canteen and I feel so full) so I decided to raid the art library. Which, despite its grand name, is merely a cupboard hidden behind a whiteboard stuffed full of art books. There was an illustrated copy of "The Da Vinci Code" so I decided to read that :D Mona Lisa is actually smiling cos she's a homo. Well, they didn't use the words "homo", but rather "neither male nor female". Actually that may not be homo. I think it's androgynous or something like that. But whatever. My mum has a colleague called Monalisa. Something tells me that she's not going to be too pleased if I ever let slip this little tidbit of information. Seen during Science on the whiteboard: Q; Are you going for... 1. nOBS 2. OByeS 3. OmayBS HAHAHAHAH SHO CUTE :D Mr Ho walked in and was all, "LOL you missed out one!" and proceeded to scrawl "4. OBEST" on the whiteboard, which none of us really got. But still you have to applaud Mr Ho for being so nice :) Oh, for once in a super long time... TAGREPLIES! Stitch: Haha thankyou :) LOL my syllabus leh not yours! But seriously Scarlatti better? :O Xinyuan: 10th nia D: But thankyou anyway :) Haoyang: OMG shuddup about that! And yes he's still in superband :)))))) Clarisse: YEAHHH I love it! :D:D:D:D:D Anyway I'm glad to see everyone likes my new skin :) Therefore I am happy :D I love my profile :D But I'm sorry I can't do much about the tagboard. It's supposed to be like that cause the sidebar is too narrow. I've extended it by 5px though. Better? :D

... LOL AMC 10th in cohort o.O No prize though. Anyway I am still very happy because I am finally going to get my own bow :) Gordon was strutting around happily today with a super long arrow he'd procured from somewhere, which was the length of three arrows stuck together. Actually I think it WAS three arrows stuck together, because there were those feathery things sticking out at random intervals. But anyway I begged him to let me get a bow since the wooden "SURPRISE" one I was using sucked. Surprisingly (ha-ha-ha) he was all "Oh okay let's measure your draw!" Apparently I have a draw length of 28", which is supposedly imba cos he went around shouting it and everyone else was like "Woah." But I dunno. It makes me feel a little bit like Ah Meng. Maybe I'll have to end up using that super long arrow. Aden and I were feeling wuliao (Well at least I was. He was suffering from the pangs of unrequited love. Squee I love that phrase.) so we went over to kachiao the beginners' class. They were shooting 5m targets o.O So we decided to go over and niao them all and shoot at 5m :D Gordon came over and scolded us for awhile but in the end let us "bully the short-distance" targets, as he put it. In the end all the competition shooters also came over and bullied the 5m targets. They started shooting at selected places on the target and their arrows were buried so deeply in. I think there was like 5-10cm poking out. That gained us all another scolding for Gordon. But I don't care. We're doing it again next week. :) Starting Grade 1 for violin next week :D My teacher showed me the scales book today and I spent 5 minutes laughing at it. Seriously. The Grade 1 scale book is... ...2 pages long. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. D, G and A majors scales and arpeggios. LOLOLOLOLOLOL. All the Grade 1 songs look very lame. Maybe it's because I was just reading the Grade 8 books yesterday, and they all seem to be fugues. How annoying.

oh su-jung vs karl
Saturday, September 13, 2008
LOLOLOLOL the first few scenes of Oh Su-Jung vs Karl are super funny. OMG how did the fat guy get such a chio gf? Reminds me of a joke I saw that day on the lockers outside that Sec 4 classroom. So this guy goes to heaven, and then he asks God: "Why did you make women pretty? God: "So that you'd like her." Man: "Why did you make women beautiful?" God: "So that you'd love her." Man: "Then why did you make her airheaded?" God: "So that she'd love you." OMG the fatguy super cute. His GF's mother was all, "O hai! I'm your gf's mother!" and he just gave her this blur look and said, "But she said you were dead!" GF's mother: "Um, okay. Then maybe I'm dead." Heh I bet there's something about this new blogskin that no one's figured out :) If you figure out what it is, tagggg :D

AHAHAHAHAHAAAAA CONGRATULATE ME, BECAUSE I PASSED GRADE 7!!! Really, I did! WEEHEEEEEE I PASSED MY GRADE 7 I PASSED GRADE 7 I PASSED GRADE 7 AHAHAHAHAHA Now I can go on to fail Grade 8 :) My piano teacher wanted me to do some easy Scarlatti song for Grade 8 but I want some difficult but cooler sounding Bach song. TELL ME WHICH ONE I SHOULD TAKE. But oh well who cares I passed Grade 7 I passed Grade 7 I passed Grade 7! I am so happy now that I don't even mind having to go all the way to NSC to get exempted from OBS. That's okay as long as they don't notice the 3 ulcers lurking in a small corner at the side of my mouth. At the worst they'll slap me with some cream and the exemption letter and then I'll go home and hide the cream. :D I passed Grade 7 :D GRATZ ME NAO! {edit} Gratz Wesley for passing Grade 8 :D LT I hope you pass too!

I was just thinking about this during the Leadership Camp briefing: I'm completely happy just being second-in-command. Like, just being the vicechair. If they still had a Sec 4 Vicechair, I'd have been happy to be Sec 4 Vicechair, I think. Even back in Rosyth I didn't wanna be the head prefect. All I wanted to be was a vicehead. I think viceheads are cooler than the heads. :D Anyway Crystal, Rachel and I have come up with the best song ever. "MONKEY, GORILLA, CHIMPANZEE!" sang going up the scale. Like, say, the first rendition starts on C, and then you sing it again starting on D. It's so cool. It's almost as though MonkeyGorillaChimpanzee was made to be sang going upwards progressively. We got super high singing it in the control room, and we kept starting from growling "MONKEY, GORILLA, CHIMPANZEE!" and working our way up to screeching "MUNKI! GOREELA! CHEEMPANZI!" Rachel thinks we should record it and use as our handphone ringtones. Then if someone calls the phone's ringing would sound progressively frenzied and higher for as long as you don't pick up the phone. Haha and then if your phone rang in class, and you sat there trying to pretend that it wasn't your phone, the final crescendo of "MUNKI! GOREELA! CHEEMPANZI!" would be really amusing background music. Ms Ong reiterated during class today that the answer to the Comprehension question: "Why did the writer's grandmother box him on the ears?" (She had caught him chanting a rude word) was not "Because she had caught him saying 'sex'." She insisted that just because the word "sex" was used previously doesn't mean that it was the word the writer was chanting. We all blushed and refused to say the word. Ms Ong kept saying it though, so for a good 5 mins our lesson was constantly punctuated with the word "sex". "Why do all of you look so horrified?" She remarked, once she FINALLY saw us all looking very red and trying to stifle laughter. Speaking of, uh, "sex". Geog yesterday was on Cheena's one-child policy, and how some Americans adopted abandoned China girls. Sarah: Why that's a very good idea what! You don't have to go through pregnancy or labour! You don't even have to do it! Our group: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Sarah: All you have to do is get married, and adopt a kid! Me: Um, I assume if you get married, you'd wanna do it. Sarah: Oh. Well, yeah. It's only natural right! Our group: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Sarah: I mean, humans are made to reproduce! This means you'll get URGES! Our group: *collectively covers our faces* Sarah: And when you get natural urges to do it, you'll want to do it! Sarah says many funny but weird things. Like during Philo: Sarah: Just because you're handicapped doesn't mean you'll be ostracised. Look at... uh... Lilo and Stitch! Class: .........Lilo's not disabled. Sarah: Yeah, but she's a freak! And people ostracise her for being freaky even though she's not disabled! Class: ......... Sarah: And then she finally finds a friend in that freaky Stitch! Class: Stitch isn't disabled. He's just an alien. Sarah: Well, yeah, but still! "The writer's grandma caught him saying a dirty word while cleaning his shoes!" This isn't said by Sarah I think, but it's cute if you get the joke :)

DENISE YOU'RE AN EVIL PRICK! Since you violated the agreement first I shall bring out my ammo :O Today after recess Denise was cuddling the beanbag next to *, and I was talking to *. All of a sudden, Denise asked me, "Hey Vic, has Mr Thomas Jeremy Lee allowed you people to go to ACSI to get raped by them yet?" So I ambled over next to her, bent down and said very sweetly, "It's okay. If you get raped by an ACSI guy, you still have a HCI shooter who will take revenge for you." She promptly started spluttering and blushing, and squealed "SHUDDUP!" in a tone which so screams "Yup you got that right, but I'm paiseh to admit it." And then she picked up Kei Nin's bag and attempted to throw it at me, but all of Kei Nin's stuff fell out and Denise was like, "oh crap!" She frantically started picking up all the fallen stuff, which included Kei Nin's handphone (orh hor!) and thumbdrive, and a bracelet. Kei Nin didn't realise until we told her. Then she glared at Denise and started sifting through her stuff. She found the bracelet and was like, "What's this? It's not mine." and threw it at Denise :D *** All that crap about love making the world go round is stupid. Love is... well, not very... trustworthy. And people won't do stuff for love. Whereas McSpicys are a totally different matter altogther. Me: Joshng go for Jap Immersion leh. Joshng: Dowan. Me: I'll let you niao me about owning me? Joshng: Dowan. Me: It'll be fun. Joshng: No. Me: You're super free what, Joshng: I want to slack after OBS. Me: Jap girls are pretty. Joshng: I don't care. Me: Jaslyn might be going? Joshng: ...I don't care. Me: I'll treat you to McSpicy. Joshng: Okay I'll consider. Haha then I asked Joshyeo to help me convince Joshng, and he got upset cos no one ever bribes him with McSpicys. Me: Hmm if you convince Joshng to go, I'll treat you to McSpicy. Joshyeo: OKAY! -5mins later- Joshyeo: YEAH MAN HE'S GOING TO ASK HIS MUM!!!! MCSPICY! I hypothesize that in the future, there's not going to be any need for love or money. You can make anyone do anything by offering McSpicys. It's like hypnosis, except easier to use :D McSpicys will revolutionalize the world. People will be paid in McSpicys. *** Does it strike you that there are some people whom you can only call by their full name? Like when I was in P3, there was this irritating boy who lived on the 3rd floor and took the same school bus as me. Everytime we got on the same lift, he'd press all the buttons from 4-12 and then zhao out, making the journey up to my floor so much more irritating and long. So his grandma would get pissed at him too and scream "FOO ZI HAO!!!!111111" I could hear her screaming at him, never using his given name "Zi Hao" but always his full name, all the way up each time the doors opened, which made it somewhat less annoying and a little more rewarding. Until today I still think of him as Foozihao. And I'm not the only one either! Like how we all call Mr Thomas Jeremy Lee that, and it feels so weird to just say "Mr Lee". And Lidan talks about "Hengweixiang" and not Werty. And everyone knows that alot of people call Mr Lim "Limpialeong". I don't know why. Everyone does it. I think.

I was going to wait until all you readers got withdrawal symptoms and started flooding my inbox with "Please! Blog! I can't take it anymore! Must...... Read........ ANOTHERENTRANCE..............." but it doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon. Anyway I shall make this post unintelligible. Denise was wearing her RI hoodie with the hood up. Ms Ong: OMG I spy the Grim Reaper. Denise: OOOH! WHERE WHERE?!?! Me: It's you. By the way, you know people like Shao Wei have two surnames right. What happens if someone surnamed Ouyang or something like that marries someone surnamed Situ? Their kid becomes Ouyang Situ Ding Dong (No other name to put la) Then what if he marries someone with a two-surname surname? Like Shao Wei's (I have no imagination so sorry Shao Wei!), so it's like, Ouyang Situ Chew Chia Ding Dong. We were talking about this in the control room, and Xinyuan immediately volunteered her story about her classmate who used to complain all the time because the three circles provided for him to write his Chinese name in were never enough, his name being Si Tu XX. Ou-Yang-Si-Tu-Chew-Chia. Liddat nonid to have name liao. Stupid MOELC people think that it's a good idea to cram us with 3h 15mins of lessons and make us do 45 mins E-Learning EVERY WEEK. PEOPLE TAKING 3RD LANG! VOTE AGAINST THIS POLICY! UM, JUST DO IT! Because it's stupid and not practical and it takes all the fun out of 3rdlang. Joshng: HUH liddat how! I'll have nothing to do! When the principal (?) announced it, the whole auditorium booed. But then she tried to soothe us by saying, later at the end, Principal: Yay okay everyone can go for your break now, until 6oclock :D Entire J2.16: *turns around to look at Sensei hopefully* Sensei: *waves hands at us mouthing "NO" frantically* MGS girls: This is a stupid policy. Me: Totally. Joshng: I have nothing to do. Andre: TamadeBEEPdan. Sensei: ANDRE SAN! I told you this post would be unintelligible. The more I try to be good and clear my homework, the more it stacks up. Well. Thanks Wesley for giving me your Grade 7 books :D Thankyou for being so fat that you take up all the space in your house and thus cannot even squeeze in another book. :) Kidding. Wesley Leong says: no space in my house Wesley Leong says: u keep Wesley Leong says: LO Wesley Leong says: NO Wesley Leong says: KEEP Wesley Leong says: NAP Wesley Leong says: NAO And congratulations Joshng D: For beating me in Jap. *gasp* You are so bleddy lucky. You can niao me all you want, I'll just cream you in EYAs :) Well, hopefully. Joshng: How much did you get? Me: Lower than you. Joshng: HEE HEE I BEAT YOU I BEAT YOU I BEAT YOU!!!! :D Me: ... Joshng (to Sensei): I passed! Sensei: ._. Me: You always pass. Joshng: I passed WELL! Me: ...I hate you. Joshng: I STILL BEAT YOU! Me: By HALF A MARK. Joshng: Still beat you still beat you still beat you!! Me: Imma tell Joshyeo. Joshng: AUGHHH NOOOOOO. Oh no even I don't understand my post!

Suspensions are retarded. (ha ha ha) ARRRRRRGH WHY CAN'T I UNDERSTAND THEM?!?!?!?! And what is a Neapolitian 6th chord? *shrieks and throws a tantrum* Urmm, to any kind souls who might happen to be theory geniuses and don't mind giving a really confused person a lecture on suspensions and other crappy stuff like that... ... please? :D Because otherwise I am going to die for lesson tomorrow. I have half a mind to fling all my books down the rubbish chute and tell my piano teacher something believeable like, "My pet alligator ate the books. Pet alligator you say? Yeah, I found it in a hole that Glendon dug to ITE Bishan during 3rd lang." Speaking of utterly believable, what is up with String Theory anyway? As in, the quantum physics one. Not uhm, theory for violinists or whatever. (Isn't it all the same anyway?) Because from what I've heard, it goes something like, ALL MATTER IS MADE UP OF INVISIBLE, VIBRATING STRINGS. ...no, really? How do quantum physicists come up with theories like that anyway? Huh? Like, did they go for some violin concert and then stand up in the middle of it shouting, "EUREKA! You know what I think? I think that you and I and all our friends here and made up of invisible, vibrating strings!" Or did they find some huge colony of invisible, vibrating strings somewhere past the Kuiper Belt? You know, even the Amber Spyglass was more believable than this. Maybe if you play the violin fast enough you might be able to create... I dunno, a babel fish or something like that. I woke up at 12 today so I'm kinda stoned now.

another chance at roses
Thursday, September 04, 2008
Oh gosh Don't Forget The Lyrics. I don't know any of those songs. o.O Except for Pretty Woman, but I don't know the lyrics to that one :O What happened to all the songs in my iTunes? Anyway. V for Vendetta is really the best book ever :D Well maybe it's a novelisation. Fine. Whatever. It's still really really coooool. :D <3 V! Magnetic personality indeed. I wouldn't mind being sick like him if I could develop such a cool personality too. I mean like, how many people could blow up lots of stuff happily? The pyromaniac in me is excited. Plus he's nothing like Chee Soon Juan. I mean, the anti-government sentiments is where the similarity ends. I think. BUT I DON'T CARE. V IS THE COOLEST OKAYYY. Heck the ACSI prawn :D V is my new idol :) Boom! :DDDDD But it was so sad when V died. Freedom fighters with magnetic personalities and "Olympic-standard reflexes" (quoted from Wiki <3) shouldn't have to die D: He could have NOT died though ;( Plus if anyone deserved a happy ending and another chance at roses, it was totally him. And Evey. Ee-Vee. Grr why are there such a lack of happy endings nowadays? D: On an unrelated note, the new random show showing now is something about Singtel Grid Girls. Busty girls trying to wash cars, which results in tiko guys coming out to ogle at them and then fork out astronomical sums (at least $50). They started singing Mr Grosse's favourite song o.O And there was this girl in a convertible going all "Oh, my daddy bought me this car. Yeah, my daddy loves me a lot." Sooo Paris Hilton. I bet she even has a Tinkerbell Chihuahua at home. Haha wouldn't that be so cool, to be an airheaded bimbo whose daddy loves you and buys you convertibles, diamond necklaces, chihuahuas named Tinkerbell and a professional photographer. Urgh irritating commercial about some crappy show called "Sense of Home" to stop people migrating just interrupted my Paris Hilton fantasy. Strawman's Fallacy much? Sometimes Singapore just doesn't cater to your needs anymore. Not that I don't love Singapore, but it's true. Urgh.

PageOne shopping at Vivo was fun. PageOne vouchers don't expire, therefore I am happy :D I still have loads left though. I can't bear to spend it. I'm sorry if this post seems a little short. Blogger deleted the damn thing after I was done uploading the bloody pictures so I am very, very sad. Anyway, Bryan Lee and Jodi and I were the only ones who went, with Tessa counting as a half. So he tried looking for me. Bryan: Hey Vic where are you? Me: Uhm, I'm near Toys R Us. Bryan: Ok I'll come and find you. -15mins later- Bryan: WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?! Me: I'm still near Toys R Us... Bryan: This place is huge okay I can't see you! Me: Urm. Why don't I meet you at GV then? Bryan: LOL k. And then I saw him coming out of Toys R Us -_- Near = inside?!?! We were supposed to meet Tessa inside the theatre, since she had initially booked seats to watch it with her parents, but when we got there... ..."WHATTTT SOLD OUT?!?!?!?!" So we watched Wall.E instead. Okay lar, the animation and stuff was pretty cute but we were a little... old for it. I'm quite sure that the ship that Wall.E's girlfriend arrived in was the same ship as in Lilo and Stitch. I think it was the one that the beansprout-like emperor used. Same tripods, everything. Just different colour. And then when she went back, the ship was the same one that the shark-killerwhale guy used. Just that it was gray and not red. I'd put up pictures but... I'm lazy to find them. Anyway you can have some random pictures I took. Speaking of pictures. I would like a professional photographer (okay, fine, a GOOD photographer) for Christmas :) Or just a random gift. In all the pictures Denise takes of me, I look retarded and just plain stupid. In the one that JY took of me, I look like a Neanderthal. Plus photos taken with huge bulky black cameras always have that "I'm a high class photo taken by an SLR or something equally impressive" look. And they always make the subject look good, somehow. So pretty please if you're a pro photographer be my friend and take pictureloads of me :D Haha I'm kidding, mostly. But it'd be cool to look chio in photos for once. Um, right. The photos :) Jodi finally consented to this shot after lots of wheedling. It's outside Vivo and nice and warm and windy, even though you can't see it. BRYAN'S A GHOST!! Heh you know all those lians who keep taking photos of themselves in toilet mirrors? We didn't have a toilet mirror, but we had a, uh, rather reflective pane of glass from PageOne. Interesting effect. My attempt at an artistic shot just screams "I'm NOT an SLR shot." Eeeks I really want a professional photographer :D SHO CUTE :D Jodi is kaypohing inside my PageOne bag :O HAHA Bryan Lee so "gentlemanly" (quoted from Jodi) help me carry my heavy heavy book bag because I have anaemia and low blood sugar and could faint any moment *said with huge shunu eyes and in a wispy shunu voice* Actually he just wanted to kaypoh but forgot and ended up carrying it for a short while. I WANT A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER!!!

Me: "Watch again lor..." Joshng: "My mum probably won't let me..." Me: "Ask?" Joshng: "I can't." Me: "Huh why?" Joshng: "I'm in the toilet." I spluttered for a good 30 seconds after that. Thanks a lot Bryan.

Maybe I'll type it out here later, but I'm lazy now. But he was cited as one of the most exciting writers in the post 1965 generation. But I'll tell you what's better! Way better! Ownagely better! people keep laughing at me
Monday, September 01, 2008
People laugh at me all day long. They laugh at me when I beg to borrow Grade 8 books. They laugh at me when I whine at them to stop making me feel atheletic. They laugh at me when I don't realise that they're scamming me, or when I don't realise that they're actually not scamming me. Therefore......... ..............I shall become a shunu. Becoming a shunu will solve ALL my problems, because no one will laugh at a shunu. *nods vigourously* Um, maybe that should be *nods gently and smiles down at hands* You know why? Because everyone loves shunus and wants to protect them and be their friends! Therefore no one will dare laugh at/bully a shunu. *skips around joyfully* Make that *smiles demurely down at hands again*. So anyway, in order to become a full-fledged shunu, I shall..... #1: I WILL NOT TALK IN LOUD VOICES OR SHOUT ACROSS THE CANTEEN. Instead, I shall speak in a high, wispy voice (think Fiona Xie) in a gentle tone. I won't whack Rachel on the shoulder and go "Wazzup woman?" but I will go "hi..." in this soft, demure voice. #2: I WILL NOT SIT LIKE A GANGSTER. Instead, I will cross my legs at the ankle and tuck them to the side of my chair, all the while looking pretty and ornamental. I will certainly not prop one leg up on a chair like Huifei, but I will cover my knees with my skirt and look shunu. #3: I WILL NOT LISTEN TO MCR/FOB. Shunus don't listen to pop punk or shouty music. They listen to gentle songs like "Liang Shan Bo Yu Zhu Li Ye" and "Bu Neng Shuo De Mi Mi". From now on, I will only listen to Chinese tween songs designed to appeal to shunus. #4: I WILL NOT HAVE A MOUTH LIKE A SEWER. No more singing of "The Internet Is For Porn" with Crystal at the RTC busstop. When someone mentions Avenue Q, I will not harmonize "If You Were Gay" with them, but instead go in the above-mentioned wispy high voice, "Huh, wat (sic) Avenue Q??" #5: I WILL USE EXCESSIVE PUNCTUATION MARKS AND SPELL BADLY. Shunus are not expected to be able to spell well or have good grammar, so I will fail my grammar tests on purpose.. and use double punctuations mark!! I will also use a lot of ellipses.. of course with one dot at the end missing.. #6: I WILL NOT BE GOOD AT STUDIES. Whenever I see a maths problem, I will look prettily distressed and wait for some egoistic guy to come over and do the problem for me so that he won't have to see my brain overheat and suffer. And when he announces proudly "3 CUBED IS 9!!11111" I will just nod demurely and say, "Waaahh.. so clever..", and not yell at him, "IMBECILE, 3 CUBED IS 27. GO BACK TO PRIMARY SCHOOL, YOU BRAINLESS NITWIT!" #7: I WILL NOT WRITE CHEEMDEEPLY. I will not attempt to emulate CAPpers, nor will I attempt to write wittily anymore. Instead, my blog entries will go something like: "Today I saw my baby cousin.. veri cute!!!! She got very little hair only.. but eyes veri big one! I like!!!!" Typical boring writing. Also I will not read cheemdeep books like "Velouria", but will worship "Eclipse", once I take 3 months to finish reading it. #8: I WILL PIMP MY HANDPHONE. I shall not use SE phones anymore, because they're too complicated for a shunu to use. I will switch to a Nokia flip cover phone, and embellish it with a selection of soft toys and furry dangly things from Minitoons' keychain racks, so that the combined weight of the keychains will be more than the weight of my handphone. #9: I WILL NOT PICK FIGHTS WITH PEOPLE. I will be absolutely sweet and agreeable. "Wanna go out with me?" "Okay.." "Let's go watch 27 Dresses!" "Okay.." "Let's skip lunch and eat popcorn and nachos instead." "Okay.." All in all, I will be very easy to please. #10: I WILL GENERALLY BE VERY SHUNU. I will titter politely instead of laughing loudly, I will pick at my fries instead of guzzling them down, I will ditch skinny jeans in favour of flouncy pink skirts. I will open my eyes really big and gaze mournfully at people, I will tilt my head to the side and pout, I will flutter my eyelashes and look shy whenever people compliment me on being such a shunu. Here's to a boring, simple, shunu lifestlye. *titters gently while covering mouth with fingertips*

For some inexplicable reason, my mouse's click wheel has gunked up and now when I attempt to scroll down, it just makes this weird clicking sound, and the mouse left-clicks. Imma make my dad pay for a new mouse. It was working fine when I last used it D: Met my mum for lunch today. We were inititally planning to go for "simple fare", considering that we'd eaten restaurant food everyday since Saturday. But then my mum walked past Shin Kushiya and she just couldn't resist, so we went in and ordered expensive but really tasty food :D Japanese food is probably the best kind of food ever. I was telling my mum about the weird people in my Jap class (considering that it was a pretty Jappy occassion) and someone's theory that Japanese evolved because some Chinese failures moved to Japan and teached everyone Chinese wrongly, and thus it became Jap. My mum added on that she heard somewhere that Korean also evolved from Chinese, but they couldn't learn it right either. So I told her what I'd learnt on a website some years ago: "The king, who was worried because all his subjects were struggling with Chinese (I guess Chinese B didn't exist in those days), invented a new language made out of ones and zeros, and it became... binary." I meant to say "Korean". And having just finished Velouria, (after hunting bleddy long for it in the SG collection at the library; I was wondering where to find ENG SHI when all of them seemed to be non-fiction books) I shall leave you with a simple but cheem sounding sentence, in a Daren Shiau-isque style that makes you think that this post has some literary value. We laughed at my slip-up.
